  • i'll try it but if it not workin i'll try another way ,, but thanx 4 the hellp =)

  • i have problems with the green one :(

  • i´m gonna try out this one.

  • Dude I wild have thought it would be a peace of tape just like the hi hat

  • how do u do this on the hi hat (yellow pad)

  • my green pad only responds on the left side does anyone think i should try this out im sick of missing notes just because i hit it in the middle or the right side!

  • @MrLordofRock I just did this. :)

  • didnt work...

  • Is there any way for the sensitivity of the red pad to be less? The red drum will keep hitting on it's own, and it will not give me a continuous streak.

  • awsome

  • NOOOOO!!!!! WE HAZ NO POPSICLES!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOO

anything else we can use for it to replace the popsicle stick? like a tooth pick or something?

  • Thanks for the video, it's awesome cause i'm having problems with the red pad (:

  • @ConiieJ

    I think everybody does,...everybody does.

You are not alone on this empty planet...

  • won't the stick break tho?

  • Good Vid Man

  • Thanks buddy!

  • i tried this with q tips and it didn't work. just a heads up

  • @tomahawk27 Well, He did say "With a popsicle stick"???

  • kinda easy, ill try this

  • thanks so much!!! youre my hero. :)

  • When I hit only the red pad it plays the red and blue what should I do?

  • @hunter5222 get a midi to USB converter and google ghwt drum sensitivity, you can download a tuner there, just decrease the red pad, i had the same problem yesterday ahahah

  • @Smi1es18 well, yeah, but then your kit is depressed because it didn't get a popsicle lol

  • does this work for PS2??? plz tell me

  • nebody know how to get pads back on? took mine off now they wont go on again! plus my drums just keep blinkin wont pick up signal, ive gotten new batteries tried everything. they work maybe half a song. so frustrating, im about to throw them out window!! any suggestions?

  • @roxdad01 Sorry, buy a new one :(

  • which one is better? ROCK BAND SET or GUITAR HERO SET? i want to buy.. pls tell me.. thank you

  • @qAyyUm Gutiar Hero

  • @qAyyUm

Guitar Hero is sets are better because of the pads..

Rock band is easier to play because of the notes..

    (in my opinion)

  • lol gamers are really creative :D

  • In the middle of the centre?? haha, good vid tho, thanks!

  • my red is the best sensor

  • YES! now i get to buy popsicles :D!!

  • ima do this but rock band and guitar hero is the same but dif songs

  • haha you might hear a ripping sound but thats just all the shit holding in the sensor, you might not need that later.

  • Thanks for that man! :)

  • in how much time you can have dis problem, since you bought?

  • Thank you... keep up with your homework...

  • Thank you so much dude!!!!!!!! Also gave me a reason to have a popsicle.

  • Genius

  • my high hat doesnt work unles you hit really hard

  • any ideas how to fix cymbals that register double hits?

  • fuking nerd without life:DD

  • @spartaque1000 fuking troll without life:DDD

  • This actually worked, thanks bro

  • it counts it as two because yo are buzzing

    (buzz roll)

    (multiebounce roll)

  • hmm, tho u break ur warranty

  • @15975322 you mean the warranty that replaces it with another drum set that also won't work right?

  • @numbstateofennui If you got a warranty on ur drumset, and u screw ur drumset up or do anything that is not ment to be adjusted, u will loose the warranty

  • @numbstateofennui dude, spot on, I really hate that.

I've taken my kit to the store like 5 times now, and the last time they took about 1 month to fix it, when I came home I played for a day, the day after the red pad didn't work... Let's see if this does the trick =D

  • how would i mod it to be less sensitive? currently when i hit yellow, blue, orange, or green,... a red snare will come out. and when i hit the red snare once, 2 come out... HELP!

  • @tuhlunksss also... i notice if i put my hand on top of the red snare, while hitting the other colors, i don't seem to have this problem. loose wire?

  • why waste your time on guitar hero when you could be ur playin n64?

  • is there a way to reduce the sensitivity of the yellow cymbal?

  • BUT DUDE???WAT ABOUT THE SYMBLESS

  • what mode is that

  • @badcokid Music Studio

  • Hat fail

  • thanks this is awesome

  • can you use anything else similar to a popsicle stick?

  • Ill try it right away... as soon as i figure out where i can get a stick like that, im completely blank hahahha

  • @gameotaku just go eat any "popsicle" or ice lolly and there you go you have a stick.

  • dud thanks a bunch!

    im gonna go try this

  • mc giver :(

  • if it dbl hits... that would come in handy for fcing hot for teacher... ftw

  • that happened to me but it was my yellow cymbal that broke.....if any1 knows how to fix that please post a video for me

  • try this site it helped me loads

    5frets(dot)com/1/guitar-hero-world-tour-drum-sensitivity-repair-guide/

  • @emosk8er97 have you checked out the website i posted it might help !!!!

  • whay was going on in the background?

  • you could so h4x on mega fast drum rolls with the way you moded the red pad xD

  • Is not enough just hit the drum heavier?

  • hey, i'm from brazil and had the same problem, i fixed it removing the glue from the black wire, wich was out.

then i put a black tape wich i don't know the name in english) (''fita isolante'' in brazilian portuguese) in the black wire, making it be togheter with the little iron circle

    it works 100%

THE ICE CREAM TOOTHPICK ONLY WORK FOR 5 MINUTES TO ME, the it just get worst than ir was, and put 2 also don't works

  • isnt it weird how rockband drums never fuck up??

  • My blue pad is working without problems now :D Thank you.

  • I'm having problems with the blue one, thank you for the video

  • Awesome mate good mod. the only way i can think of stopping the double tap is to use a small bit of foam between the pop sitck and the sensor as this may stop flexing the stick and bouncing back. i will try it an let ya know. Cheers.

  • hey thanks a lot mate i did this and it is working epically :P I gotta put a stick in each pad. Also when i hit the drum pad hard it won't double hit (maybe i don't hit them hard enough) which is good!

  • thnx man

  • whe're going to try it, hope it works, whe have bought a new one of logitech, bit i destroyed the cymbal, i love the drumming, so i hope it works

  • Wow. I can't believe that's all I had to do. Thanks man. Works like a charm. :]

  • does the new drums have the same problem?

  • Doesnt even fking work, wasted all that time and it doesnt do a damn thing.

  • I DID THIS AND IT BROKE MY DRUMS!??!

  • hehe pawnd

  • @dankjeenyus Correction, YOU broke your drums.

  • @IlDante666 Correction, AMPED4BIKES showed me how to break my drums.

  • i think the actual problem is during assembly for what ever reason the reds pads do no get fastened down all the way ( the actual pad, the sensor is not the problem) what i did was was take it apart and youll see on the back side these little rubber things (rubber snaps?) that are actually what are holding the pad in place and the best thing to do is to use a pair of needle nose pliers and make sure each one is pulled all the way through, securing the pad down evenly.

  • Fuck this, I'm buying another GH drum set AGAIN.

  • i tried this but it doesent work still

  • well my yellow cymbal is having problems. its not the cymbal itself though, its the cord that you plug into the cymbal. i tried switching the cymbals and both worked fine plugged into the orange one.

  • Your advice didn't work. but I fixed it myself.

  • Comment removed

  • thanks tht helped alot also when i am playing on te dums uptairs theres loads of banging downstairs any ideas i can do to stop or even reduce the banging thanks

  • on mine its the yellow cymbal thats having sensitivity problems. someone help?

  • make sure its plugged in securely and make sure its tightened down all the way

  • ION Drumrocker FTW !!!

  • Epic fix, man. Very nice

  • thx a lot folk!

  • rock band drums with cymbals is a lot better!!!

  • @kolder123 yup i have both rock band drums and guitar hero..guitar hero drums suck ass..

  • You only get 4 lanes that way.

  • @kolder123 except you gotta pay for em lol

  • What about the yellow pad will it wok???

  • he sed all of em would

  • Thanks for posting. For a little while I thought my drumming skills were getting worse until I figured out that the red pad was barely working

  • You should have won the Nobel Peace Prize! lmao

  • thank you so much!! this really does work! now I can finally play drums again!!! :D

  • this really works lmao, thanks =D 5*

  • is it ok to use a golf pencil? thts wat i did

  • I don't have drums anymore because the red pad broke (sent it in, got a new drum set), then my brother got mad and broke the orange cymbol (sent it in, got a new drum set) then the yellow (same thing) and then the red pad broke AGAIN. and I really want the drums... =(

  • sent it where? i want to send mine in please

  • can i uze sumthin other than a Popsicle stick

  • i have a used wii drum kit with the red drum pad problem.

IF YOURS IS EVEN LESS RESPONSIVE THAN HIS (like mine) then unscrew the bottom, adjust the tape holding the red wire so that the pad has more slack.

i tried the popsicle stick fix, and it probably works, but only if the red wire is actually touching the sensor. mine wasn't. now it is. :)

  • wow thanks!

  • nice vid, but with too much sensetivity wouldnt u hit the red pad when you just shake the kit a little? counting as a extra hit which will screw up ur multiplier?

anyways my red doesnt work at all so i've tried to unscrew it but nothing fits the screws. got any advice?

  • @maggyman4eva buy a star or torque screw

  • can you help me. My orange cymbol dont work =(. Can you help me?

  • @chump49 i can help u use ur ghwt drums on rock band and it will be fine thats what i did

  • i have problems with the yellow cymbol

  • good but the fellow symbol is going bad :S

  • nice trick. thanks a lot

  • is it the same for the ps3 drums?

  • Do you know any trick for cymbal? My yellow isnt good

  • @enziguri14 do u have the game for the wii. if u do, do u want my friend code?

  • hey can someone PLEASE get back to me it would mean ALOT!!!!!!!!! i was GH5 with my sis earlier on the world tour drum set and alll of a sudden the red pad stopped working, like it doesnt skip a beat it just wont work, but sometimes ill hit it really hard, and then a second after that it picks it up, i wanna know if this trick will still work, id rather not go through the trouble of devouring a popsicle and un screwing the thing to find it not to work, thanks i appreciate it

  • @Cozmonic032 I know exactly what your problem is... I had the same one. Yes, you do need to take the screws out, however, the good news is; you can fix the problem. Once you remove all the screws and take the face off, you will recognise that one of the wires to the red pad is detached and needs to be stuck back on to complete the circuit to the sensor. So reconnect it and it will work again..... Hope this helps,

    Fechstar

  • @FECHSTAR You were EXACTLY RIGHT!!! I unscrewed the 19 screws to see that the red wire was detached! So I just used some electrical tape and now it works better than ever! Thanks so much FECHSTAR, it means a lot that you got back to me!!! Now I can continue to "rock" :-) Thank You!!!

  • Glad I could help. Rock On! XD

  • does this trick work for the cymbals too?

  • @enziguri14 yh, im paranoid too, like im going to see some family over christmas and i dont really want them playing on the drums cz they will like smahsh it well hard lol. gunna be sweet though getting this for christmas. merry chrsitmaas m8

  • does it damage the pad were u put the popsical stick?? im getting them for xmas and dont want them to end up all shitty, do u think they will. because if they do im doing this!

  • My God! thanks dude now my drums are fixed!!! :D :) :P 8)

    Rock Onn

  • double hit lol dude you actually invented triggers for these drums :DDD

how do u fix the cymbals...? i also have a problem with the orange one

  • my orange cymbal i snot workinfg too but it's not because of cymbal i opened the inside of the drums and switched the cables' ports and orange cymbal worked perfectly as yellow cymbal so my problem is because of the port of the orange cymbal so if anyone can help me, i will appreciate it...

  • @chakkale

Same Problem dude, you found anything close to a solution yet?

  • I just use the MIDI cable and PC to custom tune the sensitivity.

  • same easiest way it even has software to do it with

  • that's acually really cool

  • thanks man (Y)

  • I only got problems with yellow and orange..

When i hit yellow it hits orange too.. and other way round..

  • same

  • nice!

  • Yeah, i had a plastic plate in my snaere drum break in half. So what I basically did was take A Metal plate and braced the pad back up. In reality it's like an upgraded version of this guys Idea. Except you can hit the pads as hard as you want. I did that with all of my Pads.

  • Somebody playing gears 2 in the other room???

    LOL!

  • can you do this for all pads to?, does it work for all pads?

  • they're all like the same so yeah

  • NO SHET SHERLOCK

  • does it work on the green pad to because my green pad doesnt pick up all the notes

  • ima try it, hopefuly works,definately sub'd

  • Lol how the hell did you come up with the idea to use a popsicle xD

  • does this work on rb drums 2??

  • You are my hero! I went from one out of every twenty hits to working every time and it cost me $1.10 for a popsicle instead of $110 for brand new drums.

  • thx

  • Many thanks, this worked a charm for me!

  • well it'relly inoging the red durm is not even working! duh

  • Cool, I'm going to try it. Thanks!

  • can you see a hole in the foam after you take it out?

  • fuck yeah man thanks

  • Nice video dude. I think it's real cool you sat down and showed folks how to fix their issue with something as simple as a popsicle stick. By the way, their are drums to Guitar Hero??? Wow.Can't wait to play!

  • what if your red is broken can you use a popstick to make i work

  • somethings wrong with my yellow drum pad how do i fix that shit?

  • for the yellow pad get a piece of card board cut it in 3 sqaures that are the size of you sensor then tape the sqauares together then open the cover for it and put it on the sensor and then put the cover back on.

  • ok thanks, i will try this :D does it really work though?

  • Thank you for your advice !!!

  • smart guy

  • nice bud..Can you really drum??

  • if this doesn't work try playing on lefty flip guys

  • thank you so much man you rock!!!!!!!!! xD

  • thanks bro !you rawks

  • the drums are poorly made, lol -.- like rly, i failed 2 songs now on 90% because i was hitting yellow and nothing was happening.

  • wtf it didnt work with my kit it broke thanks =(
