Great to see people with such aspirations - breaking the language barrier will only help bridge the divide even further. Definitely a positive thing, especially seeing girls with such high hopes in a country where they once weren't even allowed to study due to the brutal taliban.

It's always useful and helpful to know another language. I myself know 4 and am learning a fifth. The skills in computing can't hurt either. Kudos to these students.

I've learned three languages in my lifetime: As an infant I spoke baby talk; I know American English thoroughly; and I have a smattering of Pig Latin.
