Thank you both for the advice. I know just where to get a real nice Ukulele. We have friend that own a music shop and they had a nice white one. I hopethey still have it because it is so cute!

    Aloha and thanks again!

  • I never played an instrument but I think I would like too. Trying to decide what might me the easiest . Guitar, Steel guitar or fiddle.!!!! If I learn the fiddle then I can get into the club with the big guy! hahaha! Any ideas, help me out here JP????

  • @bushey26 Ha, ha, that's a no brainer - learn the ukulele (4 strings). Then you can transfer your knowledge to the guitar. I've seen several ukuleles at the Topanga Bluegrass Festival, including yours truly. It's a fast track to learning an instrument. Panchito agrees and he's sober. Ha, ha, JP & TC

  • A 1968....yes, you better not let that go.

We got lucky with the snow. Only 5 inches. Better then we expected.

    Alohaaaaaaaa

  • What's the name of that guitar JP?

  • Thats a 1968 Fender Duo-Sonic II classic. Wouldn't trade it fer anyteeng! Mahalo, Johnny & TC

  • Glad to know you weren't frozen like a popcicle or buried neath an avalanche! Glad to see you have surfaced - Panchito was in his cups wondering what happened to you. You know that rascal! • ha, ha, that means the little drunk!

  • Good morning Johnny Pal & Tree Climber,

I feel like I have lots of energy this morning so I came on here to listen to this song to start my day off.

Johnny, I have been meaning to ask you what Ponchito likes his Albondigas soup made with? I know the little meatballs can be made with different kinds of meat.

    Keep on pickin.

    Love ya, EB/CP

  • Panchito likes his meatballs mixed with hamburger and pork meats. There's lots of good recipes in Google. Unfortunately you can't put links in these comment boxes. Ole! Johnny & El Borachito

  • Hey Jonny Pal, my friend Johnny Mello cooks his Cabbage with Chourico,a(Portuguese) sasuage. It's very good too. He also uses lot of vinegar in it. He is Portuguese and a nice guy.

  • That almost sounds like a Filipino soup called "Adobo", has lots of vinegar in it. Me and Johnny Mello can probably sit down and pack it away. Johnny & Panchito

  • I tried the Bacon in the pot with the Cabbage. DELICIOUS!!!! Thanks for the hint.

    Mahalo nui loa, your aikane,

  • Aint it good? Delicious is "Ono, ono" in Hawaiian. You've inspired me so guess what I'm gonna have one day this week? Ha, ha, you're right. p.s., Pancho sez he'll stick with his albondigas soup - sez its great for hangovers. Well . . . thanks! Johnny & Panchito

  • Hoe cakes....hahahahah

  • Hi rustler540: You are indeed a man with a sense of humor. You should enjoy the following jokes: Yo momma so stupid She went to disneyworld and saw a sign that said "Disneyworld Left" so she went home; Yo Momma so stupid, she studied for a drug test!; Yo momma so stupid that she puts lipstick on her head just to make-up her mind; Yo momma so stupid she thinks a quarterback is a refund!; Yo momma so stupid She has to ask for help to use hamburger helper. Thanks 4 dropping by! Johnny Pal

  • ha ha ha!!! Great idea Johnny Pal. Your always up to something new.

Is Panchito doing better? Give him my love and tell him he will look handsome when he is all patched up. Almost as nice as you.

Mahalo nui loa, your aikane, Rosemarie the energizer bunny/CP!!!

  • Bile them cabbage down, down

    turn them hoe-cakes round, round

The only song that I can sing

    is bile them cabbage down

    Raccoon in a simmon tree

    possum on the ground

Raccoon said, you son of a gun

    shake some simmons down

ha ha ha! That's part of it I learned. Having lot's of fun with it!

  • I like to put bacon in the bottom of a deep pan with a head of cabbage on top and steam it down. I don't add water so it cooks in its own juices. It's super delicious. Like you very cleverly said below, "Yeeeeee(alo)haaaa!" Hey, I might start usin that in my shows. Ha, ha, Johnny & Panchito.

  • Yeeee!!!! Alohaaaaaa EB/CP

  • Go Johnny Pal. Love the tempo on this, nice for dancing.
