@hmongsage00 It all depends on your stats, its better if you do more science, speech and such instead of being strong with guns and what not. Because in the long run you can raise your gun skills and everything. But Lockpick, Speech, Science, Repair, and Medical is very important in the game. If you want alot of ammo just go around the map as you please along the way, don't waste it like COD, save it use V.A.T.S a lot. Deathclaws are found in various areas.

i was level 3,,first time playing,,there was a deathclaw near the sup duper mark place it had 1/4 of its health and i had a 10mm pistal with a fair amount of ammo.i got hit once and got so scared because it had taken more than half of my health.THANK GOD THAT IT WAS CRIPPLED IN THE LeGS because i just ran back and shot,i did not get any exp for killing it though.

If facing a Deathclaw take out a leg in VATS, it slows them down GREATLY and allows you to not have to deal with them getting close

Deathclaws are not so difficult to kill when you take confidence with them. If you think about it, neither behemoths are invincible: a few mines and they are dead at the first try. But it has sense because Fallout 3 it's an easy game to play (i have never died! Where's the challenge? I'm supposed to fight with low ammos, low healt kits and other stuff but i'm everytime the strongest in a fight: what the hell?) try Quake 3 Arena :D

rape indeed. you're just asking for one. the xbox should have a stupid idiot achievement for that one. i have found the perfect set of weapons that you wouldnt need any other weapons to carry. a 10mm, chinese assault rifle, combat shotgun, frag grenade (10), frag mine (5), pulse grenade (10), pulse mine (5), dart gun, supersledge, and sniper rifle.  use the dart gun on the legs of deathclaws, behemoths, yao guai, and giant radscorpions, circle strife and they are laughably easy to kill.
