Yeah, i think it goes like this, hes got his left deck the one that he is cutting on connected to the right channel, then he has put the hamster switch on the cross fader this is now set up for euro scratch position, you do one or two click flares on the up fader as on the cross fader tho as you do the cutting motion you are alternating between faders to make a double sound, if that helps!
phat stuff, very impressive. the more pro turntablists here will hate me for what I'm gonna say, but the euro scratch is really frikkin' easy if you have a pio efx-1000. okay, it still requires skill to make it actually sound good, but a good effector can keep your faders alive...
Nice vid.

You don't connect the left channel to the right program- on an pmc07 (which is what hes using)you can just reverse the programs and/or the crossfader

funny, nobody even questioned why he's cutting the right deck with his left upfader.

The scratch perverts hook up their turntables to the opposite channels, to get a hamster-style effect.

... im guessing he has it wired backwards and the crossfader on hamster to make it look "normal" but the upfaders are in reverse.

how do you hold the fader?
Which fingers go where? Cos you have to go up/down and left/right at the same time!
