I hated this as a child. I was about 3 or 4 or when this was shown in my country (New Zealand). It was so scary to me that even the ending theme song to the tv show before this was shown each week (a NZ show called "Close to Home"). It sent major jitters down my spine as I knew "The Invisible Man" it was coming up next!!!
But man, that corny major chord at the end? Way to ruin a perfectly good erie theme song, 70's TV score guy.
"ohh-it's a scary show--it's gonna be chock full of mystery and suspense, but...it's ok- you'll be safe, 70s audience..here's a major chord and all the stars turning to look at you. Yay!"
Thanks for this video ... where did you found It ? in Europe and especially in France this show was a huge succes, I was only 3 are 6 and I stil remeber it. I like to find it on DVD some day ...
I used to watch this back-to-back with the Six Million Dollar Man in the mid-70s. Those SFX used were actually quite cutting-edge for the time and are still actually quite effective, even today.
Yes, this and the Six Million Dollar Man! Classic! I still think those old shows beat the crap out of the modern ones. Its all style over substance today, IMO.
I remember watching repeats of this on the Sci-Fi channel a few years back and being surprised by how good it still was. David can make anything better.
Go go Ducky!!! :"D

I vaguely remember this show, but boy, that theme is some of the worst 70s muzak I've ever heard.
