I wonder how the movie would be different if Douglas & Heflin played each other's roles? I think Van Heflin could play a good weakling.

@ClassicMovieClub, personally I don't find her that appealing and seductive here. She comes across as weak and desperate - far inferior to the sharp, resolute and attractive Van Heflin.
