The part from 3:43-4:01 is by far my favorite 7th Saga music line. I plan to play it a lot of February 2, my date for taking action on the journey I sketched out in my New Year resolutions.
OMG! What great friggin' memories! Thanks so much for posting this - not even sure how I came across this, but wow! My older brother and I used to fry up and play this all night long, lol!! I'm 42 now and think I'm gonna download the emulator and kick it's ass again! I sent him this link and he LOVED it! Kudos!!
This was hard as hell when I was a kid. I might have to come back and try it again. I remember leveling up in the first field for hours and still getting whooped when i tried going anywhere else.
This was seriously one of the hardest RPGs ever. I can't recall how many times I died at that first boss in the ruins. Also fuck monsters who dodge magic.
mmm happy memories... I hijacked my dads super Nintendo just so i could play this game... i wound up keeping his super Nintendo and still have it and the game to this day :3 woot woot.
Świetny, klimatyczny OST. Do dziś nie rozumiem jak jeden polski portal mógł stwierdzić w recenzji, że muzyka jest żałosna i nie nadaje się do słuchania.
Yes, only the dwarf can enter the cave. It is located in a corner of the mountain chain in the northern part of the map. Near an outcrop of other rock. You'll know you've found it when you just suddenly walk into said cave!
Good lord, this might be one of the hardest games I've played. Never beat it, but damn I had a lot of fun playing it. The sweet music helped me stick with it for a time. Guess I wasn't hardcore enough as a young buck to finish it out, haha.
this game is really fun I love all the music in the old rpgs on snes i think it was the golden age for rpgs even the best ff i think is ff III or VI in japan ever made.
I could only beat this game with an emulator. But I was introduced to this game at a tender young age, the overworld music still can bring tears to my eyes. So much nostalgia.
Anyone who says an RPG can't be hard should give this game a shot. Awesome music but holy crap is it difficult. I don't remember anymore how far I got, but it wasn't all that far.
Wow, it's great to hear this again- it almost brought a tear to my eye. I have great memories of my dad and I treking though this wonderful/terrible unforgiving RPG!
I had some fun with this game, though you have to be very patient with it. Glad to see the hard-earned "ending" so I won't have to bother finishing it. Music's always great, though.
well said man, i remember the hours passing by like seconds as i played it through. These days the music just makes my soul happy, to all of you who beat this great game, good job! its not an easy one!
@Triundi totally feel u. i skipped alot of school for games like this! haha. music is enchanting! too bad the world is so based on commercial music, while there is a whole genre of magical music we rarely hear
Nothing is cooler than the dueling music.. when you fight one of the other heroes. That's the one I remember the most.. but all these songs are cool. I think the second to last one to play is battles in caves/dungeons.. very cool.

Getting into a battle in this game always scared me. The noises were so creepy.

IIRC, this game gained its notorious difficulty due to some programming error that occurred during the translation.

What is the song called that starts at 5:05?
BelleAngel1234 2 years ago
It's the music for the Port Town, we first in Bonroe and many other villages after.
We heard, it's not uploaded on youtube, unfortunetly. Some kind of song you never forget.

Oh, god, the memories...
I used to stay up all night playing this, fall asleep in front of the television, wake up, and keep playing.
It took me forever to beat; but I had almost every monster down to one or two hits.
This music is so good, I can hardly contain myself...
