  • So how do you keep the sections together?

  • joint method?

tab & bolt. side bolt is tie. under is insert only.

    see

  • I'd describe the rig as a balstrom rig with a wingsail. There is an attempt to induce a foil shape at the bottom, but more would be needed higher up to be successful. A little more money would no doubt have been a big help to the inventor, who seems to have lots of good ideas. Bulbs are only good for vessels moving at about 3/4 hull speed, which is why they are only on ships.

  • Great boat.

  • bulb effect...i can not get different feel.

I think little effect of decrease bow angle

  • does the bulb bow help on speed?

  • about US$500。

    wood is japan cedar.

reason low cost & sea water resistant

  • how much would that cost to make and what wood did u use

  • wow thats the most budget thing ive ever seen bahaha

  • What a clever design - you add the bow when it's in the water. I've never see that before. Plexiglass rudder? How cool. I love your boat. One question: Is the bow a separate part for transport or for ease of construction?
