I experienced a moment like this this past summer when my grandpa, godfather and one the people I always looked up to - although that was a bit tough since he was the founder of SPIT (Short People Is Terrific)! He suffered from Alzhiemer's.

God definitely had a hand in his death - not only were his wife and daughter there, but my dad, 2 of my sisters and I were all there too. In fact, my dad got there that day - we live quite a few states away.

We were praying at his bedside when he died, and the first thing my aunt said was "He remembers us now."

He does.

Yes, I cried, but quite honestly, I felt more happy than sad. Grandpa was suffering, and he isn't anymore. I believe that God had been preparing me for that moment the whole trip.

I was able to sing at Grandpa's funeral Mass with a peaceful heart.

Its been a hard week and a half with the death of a dear friend and math teacher, but things are starting to look good thanks to my Lord

The day I saw this movie I though it was the most beautiful thing ever. Growing up I would remember this song and would always sing it whenever I was feeling sad. It helped me a lot and even now I still feel this overwhelming happiness inside me whenever I hear this song.

I lost my mother recently and kept asking God why???. I watched Joseph King of Dreams just a few days before she died. When this song was played when Joseph was imprisoned it answered my question and became a very special song to me as it has done to many others. I felt so touched by this song that I read the lyrics as part of my mother's eulogy which also touched the congregation also. My mum used to say "God knows best." A beautiful and one the most well written songs.

@MrDeecus Im sorry for your loss. i lost my math teacher recently. not only did he teach me advanced math, but he taught me respect, disciplane, and hard work ethics. I heard this song and I realized I cant question God but i must follow his will knowing he will never steer me wrong. My condolences, and know your mother was right when she said God knows best

Whenever bad times hit me and I wonder why things are going wrong, I remember that God has a plan for everything and that He knows better than us. That's why Joseph's story is my favorite one from the bible.
