Hey, Ijust wanted to say that there is nothing wrong with jumping western!! I do it all the time and I always start my friends on their first jump western because they feel safer that way. Just because a horse jumps doesn't mean they have to be in English apparel and neither do their riders.

Hey, I just wanted to answer your question. To help line up straight, try to keep your leg on the horse a little harder. Also, if your horse likes to jump more to the side and/or land more to the side, start a little closer to the opposite side. Where is your new stable located? I just wondered.
