Clifford and Viper are made by the same manufacturer if I'm not mistaken. Directed Electronics is their maker and both names are built with same quality structures. If is about feautures then that's a different story.

@nya13 Well i think that Clifford 590.2 is the best alarm out there and Clifford is better than Viper, Get the 590.2, its more expensive but it's better.

Viper 5900 is much simpliet to operate no Function button to mixup very realiable and easy to install less programming at install. so end user wont try different combinaison and then comback at the install shop again and again for help cause they did not understand all fonction on the remote, not all end user are good with technologie, they should left available the Viper 5900 on the market.
