@aumi20 You have to go to a performance shop to do the work. But alot of stuff you can read books and forums to figure out how to do them your self. If you like hondas then you can read how to install a turbo charger for a honda civic.

I have a Magnaflow system on my GTO. It's quiet at low rpm & comes alive at higher rpm. Borla's S system seems similar, I like it a lot. A very good video.

@AgentStyles I'm an engineer and I have trouble understanding this myself without seeing flow data, but it may possible. If you have several smaller cores (rather than 1 big core), you actually promote laminar flow which would have less backpressure essentially. But you also have more wall friction. When you take into account all of the holes in the cores, I tend to think that this would make the flow unstable with chaotic eddies. But you can't speculate fluid mechanics so Borla may be truthful.

"this is a sleeper exhaust" ... the camaro is one of the least stealthy cars available. With stock internals the 2010 camaro was disappointingly slow when I tested it. Its the opposite of a sleeper. It sounds great though! and good video.

My 98 Mustang Saleen came with Borla exhaust straight from the dealer. Then later on they came with Corsa, and they sound like shit! SLP exhaust sounds nice too. When I got my X-pipe put on my car the dude from the muffler shop told me to go with Basanni, and that it was going to give me more hp too.

Your touring exhaust is the best. While I like your comparison, there is one major factor you're leaving out. Most car enthusiasts like to swap the headers and mid-pipe as well. With the more free flowing Borla exhaust the note becomes hi-pitched & raspy, (especially with an off road midpipe). I've owned both the "quiet" and "stinger" borla catback for my Cobra. The stinger exhaust was amazing with the factory manifolds and stock H, however, once I upgraded I had to make the switch.

I agree with you 100%. So glad to hear that someone else out there thinks like me. I have no idea how some of the screwballs run LT headers, no cats, and mufflers like the Stingers. Sounds horrible.

I also agree that the Touring system gives the best Borla sound. I have the Touring system on my V6 Mustang and its superb.

Without a doubt the Touring is the best Borla system. With and without Headers.
