The other issue with the death penalty is unfortunatly, many people are wrongly accused and convicted. If they're still living, at least they have a chance to continue to go to trial to fight their case. But obviously once u put someone to death, its too late. Again, i disagree with MANY things that Bloomberg has done but in this case, hes right. The death penalty isnt the answer. Let these criminals rot in their jail cell

This is probably one of the very few things that i agree on what the mayor is doing. I personally think that the death penalty is an easy way out for these criminals. I think that anybody who kills a human being for no reason outa feel the torture in a prision for the rest of their lives. No need for the death penalty because the inmates will provide these criminals with their own death penalty anyway.

I think Michael Bloomberg would make a great president. But, you can have it both ways. The person in his example was witnessed in killing two police officers. No mistaking he was the killer. The death penaly should apply here. If this was a case where there was any reasonable doubt then the death penalty should not apply. There has to be flexability.
