SO these two guys kill 2 cops with witneses and he wont kil them ? he will just probabaly want them to have therapy and be released after u idiots tax payers let this jew steal more from you lolol .
The other issue with the death penalty is unfortunatly, many people are wrongly accused and convicted. If they're still living, at least they have a chance to continue to go to trial to fight their case. But obviously once u put someone to death, its too late. Again, i disagree with MANY things that Bloomberg has done but in this case, hes right. The death penalty isnt the answer. Let these criminals rot in their jail cell
This is probably one of the very few things that i agree on what the mayor is doing. I personally think that the death penalty is an easy way out for these criminals. I think that anybody who kills a human being for no reason outa feel the torture in a prision for the rest of their lives. No need for the death penalty because the inmates will provide these criminals with their own death penalty anyway.
Isn't Bloomberg the man responsible for accepting Bush administration funds to put this election year military "Torch Teams" in the NY subway system with huge MP5 submachine guns and attack dogs - for illegally jailing more than 1200 peaceful demonstrators and holding them for the duration of the 2004 Republican convention -for lying about his political reasons for denying Central Park permits to anti-war groups prior to the republican convention, etc.
Think about what your saying here for a minute - why would a team of men armed with MP5's need attack dogs?? lol. Don't you think it's more likely that they were bomb-sniffing dogs?
By the way, an MP5 is not "huge", that's why they're called "SUB" machine guns.
The exaggeration here is the Darth Vader outfit. Are they gonna shoot the bombs? Or are they gonna continue the election year pattern of be afraid, be very afraid war "we're here to protect you" in an election year. Try to remember last election year 2004 when every "code orange threat" raised Republican polls 2.7%.
@jennysjunkinthetrunk He is the biggest @sshole in history.Tax hike mike raised taxes on everything,Raised tickets over 200%.No one would vote for this moron queer outside new york.Maybe he should go to isreal and run there.
@jennysjunkinthetrunk Sounds reasonable. I didn't do it, my gun did it..................SIX TIMES! WELL, IT GOT JAMMED! AND IT WAS TOTALLY BY CHANCE THAT EVERY ACCIDENT GOT SOMEONE IN THE HEAD! I'M INNOCENT, I TELL YA!
@jennysjunkinthetrunk YES NEVER KILL A INNOCENT , BUT IF YOU FORCE HIM TO BREAK ROCKS FOR 25 HOURS A DAY? THATS OK? YEAH HE SANE ,, HES IN WITH ARAB ENEMIES TO EXPAND HIS BUSINESS ,U SHEEP
Bloomberg does not rock at all. Believe me, I live in NYC and he totally, completely shits on the working class while the upper class gets away with murder. He has cops out there humiliating themselves giving tickets to people for doing things so small as to sitting on milk crates, yet he allows the rich to block up traffic for miles while they get their fucking townhouses renovated. He is the ultimate money cunt.
I also live in NYC and am working class. If you have any links regarding this, I would love to read them, I'd hate to put a man on a pedestal that shouldn't be there.I don't remember reading about him continuing the fascist policies of that c---sucker Giuliani (like issuing tickets for bs) do you have any link that could help me further my knowledge? I can imagine his being a money c--t, but i just haven't really seen it. Thanks.
It cost tax-payers much more money (millions and millions) to go through the legal process of putting someone to death than it does to lock them up for the rest of their lives. (Oh, and you misspelled the word "asshole".)
I think Michael Bloomberg would make a great president. But, you can have it both ways. The person in his example was witnessed in killing two police officers. No mistaking he was the killer. The death penaly should apply here. If this was a case where there was any reasonable doubt then the death penalty should not apply. There has to be flexability.
You're still trying. Beyond reasonable doubt is already the mandated standard for convicting a man to death. The ground gets murky as you continue to set the precedence of what exactly beyond reasonable doubt is, which is where we are currently.
Capital punishment is about revenge. I am against taking revenge. Killing is wrong, except in self defense. There is something wrong with a person who thinks they want someone else to suffer, or someone else to die.
I believe, as Bloomberg points out, that killing anyone is against God's Will in any situations. In truth, the sinful traits not only belong to the unfortunate criminals
but also run in the blood of the more fortunate, ordinary people. The criminals can work in the prison, and can be given the opportunity to become better persons.
i agree. i am against the eath penalty because if the state does it it makes it seem ok.they are suppose to be an example and if they do it and then tell others not to kill, that is being hypocrites.also, we are even worse if we give the death penalty, because we are getting rid of the bad, which makes us worse.we cant fight fire with fire. i would rather have a murderer think and suffer the rest of his days in jail, than be giving the gift of death and put to rest
I oppose the death penalty for the same reason. If we kill one innocent person it should outweigh killing all the criminals instead of putting them away for life.
