No, Zac sings the whole thing, it sounds different because its probably not all 1 recording, it'll be the best bits from all the scenes. But it's deffinatly him.

It was just a key change people... of course there's a difference. The first verse, 'Gabriella' was supposed to sing, but she got nervous, so 'Troy' did it. Then he went back into his own key.

Don't believe everything you interpret from TV, you may have just mistaken something he said. Hope I don't offend anyone.
