it doesn't do anything, the recoil is the same with or without silencer. It reduce muzzle flash which makes it look like there is less recoil but in fact is it the same

@mytotallyawesomename no, I use Silencer and Ghost in Hardcore because once the other team gets a spy plane/UAV, you are going to be lit up like a Christmas tree. now, i don't mind much on Core, because with the less bullet damage, you can take a couple shots and still have a chance to kill them. but on HC, when it's a 1-3 shot kill, if they come around and surprise you, you probably won't be able to effectively fight back because you didn't have any warning.
