@Novasmom08 hello heather! how are you and you're gorgeous little ones? we're going to begin TTC #4 soon, working toward our second UC. what have you been up to? : )
This is such a beautiful video -- My first child was born c-section with me under ga. It was 8 hours before I was able to hold my perfectly healthy baby, it almost broke me. I feel like a changed person because I was not given any choice in his birth whatsoever.. I'd love to have another child but am scared of having to have another c-section, I was wondering what the gap was between your son and River?
13 months between River and my son, 14 between my oldest and my son. But I was pregnant at 6&10 weeks PP and my OB still supported me in planning a natural delivery from the get go. If it's important to you hun, you fight for it! I'm so sorry your birthing experience wasn't a happy one-but I found immense strength in my sadness and anger by turning it around and using it as UBAC "fuel". Trust in yourself, that was and is my biggest mantra of pregnancy and birth-don't give up and build support!
Wow! That sent Chills all over me! Such a wonderful and lovely Birth. I have to admit though. I stoped in bc I named one of my twin boys River and if I had a girl.. it would have been Evangeline. :)

Great encouraging video. Was sad to see a bottle in the ending photo, not that I should judge the contents or what it means for that women, just wish that promoting/encouraging UC wasn't linked with a bottle. :(
Congratulations mama, great job! It must feel so great to have the birth you WANTED!
@36hesperia36 i am sad there is a bottle there too actually-but if you must know i have hypoplastic breasts and despite my round the clock feeding and pumping i do not produce milk. i've tried everything, and sadly am not able to nurse. i agree whole heartedly that breast is best, unfortunately i'll never get to share that with my babies...
thank you all! i know the pics are short of the actual birth-but i can tell you it was by far the most life changing experience EVER. and i wish with all my heart that any mother out there who is trying to achieve VBAC/HBAC/UBAC or just feeling defeated after an unwanted cesarean-that your body and soul can heal! our bodies are so amazing, i hope more than anything that my video promotes trust in women's bodies and birth!
Wow, just beautiful. I have tears in my eyes, just watching. The birth of my baby ended up in C section, which I'm fine about. At least i was awake so could hold her straight away. If there is a next time, I so want it to be a normal delivery... Thanks for sharing. You're a wonderful woman. (Sandrine) xxxx
