I was also there that day too. And all of you are right American Idol is just a TV show. I sat way up at the top above table 13 and we watched that asshole say no to EVERYBODY! A man made it through just for stripping into a speedo? Seriously? I was there for 15 hours also and now I've realized that American Idol is a complete joke.

Exactly..I was there too, i left after about 5 hours of waiting because I saw EVERYONE getting rejected, amazing people just because of their looks. To get onto American Idol you either got to be amazing, or just really bad. Its a joke

Yea, this whole experience was a joke. We sat for 15 hrs before we auditioned, and we were sent to table 13 who, over the course of eight hrs, sent THREE people thru to the next round... THREE! out of the prolly thousand that he saw. we figured he was jus there to keep the line moving, and he definitly did that. This show is just that, a TV show, nothing else.

American Idol aint nothing but a hard way to gt into the business. Ne-yo tried out and look at him now that jus shows u American Idol is not everything not even half only reason I tried out is cause I wanted to get on TV and I feel bad for the winners cause people gone stop buyin American Idol cds cause people get mad jus thinkin bout that title. AMerican Idol is a joke not lookin for talent no more.

Wow, as a parent of a daughter who tried out.Your lost American Idol not ours. For those of you who tried out, dont give up and let this show discourage you, they dont know what true singers are all about!Did anyone notice how Ryan never came out to tape "Welcome to american idol season 8 in rutherford NJ inside the stadium, like he did in other cities.

Hi guys. I agree with Avalita07, I was there also with my daughter. It is a joke now, they turned away good singers for straight up people who could not sing. A friend of ours was going to get the green ticket,they asked him "where are you from" he said Boston. The judges looked at each other funny and told him "sorry not today".

i was there too on the same side you filmed. it was a good experience but Idol is a joke now. they let some freak through who literally did cartwheels and had a horrible voice. i sang & nailed the song & the jealous "producer" *cough* (employee) looked me up & down & said no.

sure, but there are amazing people. my friend made it to hollywood. shes not telling us she made it, bu if you were to look her name up and type american idol with it, it shows shes made it past hollywood, to the top 24. and she hasnt denied it, or confirmed. shes amazing, so not all people who get thorugh are bad.

I was there. Infact, not only was I there but I sat right above next to where she came entered and exited so I got a good look at her. :)
