I think this is because of the new faces they brought to the game. In years past they could only pick from 20 to 25 different faces for every player in the NFL. Now that EA has made each player have their own face, graphics will suffer. By madden 11 im sure they will have fix'd the graphics. Assassins creed was rated 10/10 making it the best game out at its time. a 2d video game would be like a 1/10. u then put madden 08 in between and it turns out to be like a 9/10. then a game like Halo 3 comes out scoring a 10/10. it drops assassins creed's rating and madden 08's rated. which means it's time to make the next game better. so then they make madden 09 etc...
