Had to be down hill. The RSX Type-S top speed is 145 MPH, but it's drag limited to about 139/140 MPH. Drag is a simple force of nature you can't beat without more horsepower or better aerodynamics.

i also have an 07 coupe si, ours cant go this fast because it has a governor to stop it from engaging vtec in 6th gear, the 06 ecu supposedly doesn't have this and has been shown to go this fast also, and btw its basically the same motor but the rsx has a few more horses than us...but we have LSD yay

@AlucardZero a lot of it is miles. An 03 RSX would have pretty high mileage especially if it is a DD which most are. When I had my DC5 I lost to Si's and beat Si's with similar mods. I never understood the difference but the new Si should be a bit quicker than the RSX on any given scenario with similar mods or stock.

there is 2 km/m for a dc5 thetype-s and basic cluster which is here goes to 260 km/h....te other is the type-r which has alot less numbers which only goes to 180km/h..so he is in fact doing 155 mph

No it doesn't. The 06's are calculated using the new SAE standards which is why its rated at 201 instead of 210. There were no changes to the motor between 05 and 06, they both have the new k20z1
