  • DAMN NATURE YOU SCARY!!! ... Seriously.

  • how do you know it's lunch?

  • Why dont we just call the start 'morty'?

  • Seems legit.

  • Sweet, sweet science!

  • it's like i heard when watching this video "MUAHAHA IM BACK STAR NIGGA!!!" i screamed my but off

  • what if a black hole tried to consume another black hole......I think it just makes a larger one but what if it exploded or something.....that'd be cool and bad.

  • @TheOmegaLoneWolf Black holes do not get large, but instead become more massive. The collision of two black holes is believed to just make a more massive black hole

  • From Yogscast.com I'm Dave Yougnau(gh)t

  • OM NOM NOM SATURN

  • OM NOM NOM NOM

  • would be a black hole to pass through the side all the corrupt politicians.

  • Sonic rainboom.

  • i dont get it.. if NASA have a satelite that can detect black holes energy and stuff..

how do they know how it looks.. the satelite cant record a video.. and what if that satelite needs a repir whats gonna happen.. the story i read said black holes are too far away from our galaxy.. how did that satelite get all the way there.. and last if your have the footage why do you show 3D effects.. just have a curious mind

  • @MrIHaveNoName10 astrophysicists don't just look through telescopes. there is obviously science working and predictions that can be made, even from a pinpoint of light. computer models for example can provide visual represesntations. there of course may be another piece of data that shows something previously unknown, so they don't really 'know' how it looks but the representation is usually as close as we can get, and that is quite close. real footage may of course be no more than a dot.

  • Does this song of a title?

  • how does any body know what happens the huble just seen some flashes that is the same as saying we know the earths core is iron who dug that far we dont even know whats on the bottom of the sea its all theory a educated guess but still a guess

  • @SuperMax328 What else would it be? Even if you saw it, how could you be sure that your interpretation of the observation is true? Direct observation is ofcourse better than indirect, but it doesn't change that all theory is educated guesses and might be wrong

  • @TheSKeB no worries mate, i'll get back to you with my progress. thanks for your support.

  • good~

  • I think once you get sucked into a black hole you end up in another trippy dimension.

  • @Y0blake yeah but crushed into the size of a quark or smaller

  • @Y0blake Do it and tell us how it goes. I have my own idea of what takes place. I could use your first-hand information.

  • This is going to be on "the first 48"

  • The media always makes the black hole look like a bad guy, saying that it KILLED the star. But EVERYBODY who's ANYBODY knows that black holes don't kill, but simply pull in matter, and push it out of a white hole (other side of a black hole) which is in another part of space. Go wiki white holes

  • @allanguevara87 Actually after you pass the part called the "horizon" of the black hole depending on how big or small the black hole is you have anywhere from eight minutes or less before you reach the center. At first it may seem like you're not moving at all when actually you are. When you hit the point where the tidal pull starts you will start to stretch out and eventually tear apart because your feet will be pulled towards the center. So yes black holes do kill....

  • Black holes always killing the young

  • why must the good die young!!!!!

  • @Asleepymystikal Turn your sound down.

  • OH nooooo one star is dead were all gunna die!

  • not swift enough hehe

  • No...... Swift J1644+57 only live a couple of million years.......

  • What is it going to eat for supper?

  • u know i thought that when u die ur soul gets locked in a star if u r really (good or really bad idk wich one) so u can live a secound life then when the star dies u will be placed in heaven or down there :( maybe thats what happens maybe not who knows only god does (ps if u dont belive in god sorry)

  • Surely all the proportions are off there?

  • Comment removed

  • Why is everything that is named Swift dies, i bet the Astonomer who discovered the star played Call of Duty.

  • Hahaha ^-^ I lol'ed when he said the name of the star :) This is really interesting information. Thanks :D

  • Using abode after effects cs

    5

  • And another universe is born...

  • Just saying... if God is really all-knowing... he SHOULD (or DOES) realize that there are a lot of people anticipating the "most epic wish at 11/11/11 at 11:11". If he makes this so-called "end of the world" event occur... he's gonna have A LOT of pissed off Heaven-mates. Or a huge revolt from Hell.

  • @JerrafurOscar i don't know about an epic wish on 11/11/11 at 11:11. and anyways it's 11/11/2011 so yea.

  • the attraction of the black hole is very powerful, it shrinks the density of the mass of the other star

  • the black hole is mentioned in the Quraan (which was written a 1400 years ago (chapter 81 verse 15 and in the verse 16 it says what it does) U can look it up and accually people never really understood what it meant untill now, untill NASA's discovery just explained one of the Quraan's miracles :)

  • Fantastic - great vid !!! .

  • @AnnihilationISTRUE See you on the 11th when you will have to come up with MORE excuses why you believe in a all powerful creator!

  • Thats not a death of a star, thats the result of the DEATHSTAR!!!

    :D trolololo

  • Pfft... one million times the size of our sun? Almost as big as my penis

  • @AnnihilationISTRUE Let's talk about it on 10222011, OK?

  • @VideoFromSpace I know right, why is it so hard for people stay on topic, specally about god, which has nothing to do with 1022011. Just this guys lack of understanding science explained by a closed and limited view from a farytale book and magic. Next I can see them waving a stick around and yelling "mystic powers grant me a miracle herpaderp!!! " I hate when people talk about god, god has never done anything for me, we are more gods then a fantasy is. We can create and destroy. Never seen god.

  • @AnnihilationISTRUE - Woooo, you're asking your assassin to bless you?

  • @AnnihilationISTRUE Yeah you can take your bible and what you believe see, look at it, lotion it, turn it side ways, and stick it up your crusty ass hole and hope it would rip the fabric of space and time and pull you in like a black-hole. These religious people just will not stop I swear they are nuts. They think magic and farytales from a book have all the answers when it was just man trying to solve problems with lacking understanding. Demons are more real then god is little preacher man!!!

  • Nobody has ever seen god or proof of your god. God does not exist in the universe or beyond it. God is more of a metifore for advanced aliens to use to describe their technological superiority. All this good stuff and the bible was most logically explained by 2 things, fantastic delusions by people thousands of years ago or aliens described because primitive man could not explain what was happening with their eyes because they did not understand. It is really that simple. More proof then a god.

  • Stuff just happens natually with out some devine power helping it and it all is explained by science. Leave your joke of a god out of this!!!

  • @AnnihilationISTRUE god does not exist nothing to worry about

  • wel, thats your opinion... other people might thinki its real!! who knows. maybe we are right maybe u are right.

  • Is there any real pictures of this instead of a animation?

  • black hole was like nomnomnom

  • That Black Hole was lurking, I can see it at 1:08 just waiting on some poor star to come by.

  • Damn nature, you scary!!!!!!

  • Now, what's that stuff spewing OUT of the black hole?

  • @debjorgo The remains of the star are, in the last act, accelerated so rapidly that an energetic jet is launched at 99.5% of the speed of light AWAY from the event horizon of the black hole. That, in fact, is the telltale signature of the stars existence...and demise.

  • @VideoFromSpace I thought that nothing could escape a black hole?

  • @Samael78 think of it this way, nothing can escape a fat man's dinner time, what does escape though, is what has gone through his digestive tracks, that's what you see spewing out of the black hole.

  • @VideoFromSpace wait so the star is alive? or has it been sucked in completely? man that would suck, that even light gets sucked in. I would like to see the millenium falcon try to get around that thing...

  • @starwarstheclone1001 "It's dead, Jim."

  • NOT SWIFT ENOUGH

  • @VideoFromSpace All this is cool and what not, but fucking magnets, how do they work?

  • @skdR Really, really well; most of the time.

  • @skdR

    Go on google fool!!!

  • @skdR polarity, if you knew anything about atoms and forces it would't be that hard to contemplate.

  • @skdR Miracles man, just miracles

  • @skdR that's Magic... my teacher told me .

  • I think it would "drink" it for lunch because wouldn't it be sucked into a stream because of the high forces? Then again would it be compressed into something so solid that it would have to be "eaten?" But Black Holes don't really chew do they? And you can't really say it swallows it whole because the star doesn't just drop into the hole. Can you say consumes disposes or destroys? Probably not that either because it just packs it all in there. I've got it! Black Hole OWNS Star!

  • who comes up with all these names

  • @superdahoho consider howmany stars there are

  • LOL The music reminded me of an old heavy metal song by Queensryche: "Take hold of the flame" is called, which fits the video perfectly :-)

    Here's the song: /watch?v=3AQM-KdepuM

(AMAZING singer, by the way check it out!!!)

  • Now THIS is properly called AWESOME!

  • ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!

  • RIP Swift J 4454655777657765+43643576787

  • I know how that star feels!

  • RIP Swift J 168595902852034355454354

  • @Venim85

    it's PLUS 57 not TIMES 57

  • Black hole go OM NOM NOM on star?

  • And this is why we should stop spending so much on military and start investing more on space technology. Machines guns, missiles, and nukes can't do jack against a black hole. But if we stop wasting money on these weapons, we might be able to find something to counter, or at least avoid, black holes.

  • @JerrafurOscar Lol, nothing would stand a chance against a black hole. I mean, unless you wanna somehow move the entire solar system...Hahaha, if a black hole happens to pop up, all we can is eh, shit happens man.

  • @JerrafurOscar If light itself can't escape the gravity of the black hole, I doubt anything could

  • @Ages15 That's true, but since most black holes are spinning, they emit jet streams of energy out of their poles. It may be possible for us to invent or discover a technique to reach the poles and safely escape the black hole through those streams. Though it will be very difficult/unlikely because those areas are just maelstroms of chaos.

  • @JerrafurOscar I don't think the black hole itself is spinning, just the matter that came to close to it is orbiting it. We still know very little about black holes though, so it could very well be rotating.

  • @Levitikai Ahhh. Yes, that's very true! We COULD know more if the world as a whole starts investing in technological research though! :P

  • fitting music?

  • @mitsukai89 You tell us, please.

  • @VideoFromSpace i think it fits perfectly

  • @VideoFromSpace the black hole was hungry

  • @VideoFromSpace

Something more stoic, pianos not guitars. Sincere thanks for acceping feedback!

  • @thealchemist1111 We hear you. Like classical Steinways and Bosendorfers? Or 20th century Cage/Nancarrow prepared pianos? Or art-rock pianos of Emerson & Wakeman? What are you hearing? Thanks.

  • @VideoFromSpace

Rick Wakeman and Keith Emerson are wizards on the piano!, but when I see this excellent video I think of Thomas Newman (Meet Joe Black, The Green Mile) and Clint Mansell (The Fountain, Pi, Moon). They make me feel as if I'm watching the night sky already. Once again, many thanks!

  • @thealchemist1111

    for example :)
