  • this is really great!

  • My first Step into the Modular-World lots of years ago and I had a lot of fun with it! It really is a lovely little troublemaker. It sounds well..very special. A somewhat nasal sonic experience. The agressive overdrive at high resonance levels is typical too. What I don't like was the keyboard action but there are worse ones out there (Pro-One f.e.) but overall it's build like a tank. Nevertheless I sold it cause I was searching for another kind of sound and more features. Cool to hear it again.

  • hi, would anyone know why no sound is coming from my ms10? I just left it on for a few hours, and when I came back, it wouldn't make any sound. It still powers on though, but the red light no longer blinks, it's just on the whole time. :(

any help would be great :)

    thanks

  • Hey, I whould like to thank you a lot for this video, it helped me make the choice of buying this beast instead of a moog MG-1

  • @koekhapper Good choice! Happy to be of assistance :)

  • Hey, if you know, could you tell me what the values were for the sound between 3:18 and 3:30. It sounds amazing! Great demo!

  • @PyramidHeadX It's all about finding the right spot with the peak and cutoff paramater. Looking at the video the cutoff should be around 5 and the peak at 8, but you'll have to tweak alittle to find the right spots. Use sawtooth on the VCO to get alot of overtones.

  • 3:20 -3:50 ... sweet!

  • muse 3:35 resistance

  • Hello !

I've seen you also have a Yamaha CS15. As they both work with Hz/Volt CV interface, is it possible to patch these 2 monsters together ??

    Thx for this demo... :o)

  • @KaeRZed I never owned the MS-10 and the CS-15 at the same time, so I've never tested that. But I assume that it's possible, yes!

  • Some sounds are just like the Monotron! Nice!!!

Although having "The Real Thing", like a MS-10 or MS-20 would definitely be better, and, perhaps easier...

    I live the sound.

    thanks!

  • 3:31 intense!

  • LOL 5:30 super mario

  • Great demo of an excellent classic synth !!! : )

  • Really nice demo especially where you've used deep reverb.Hard to imagine those sounds comes out of MS-10.I think people who liked the sounds of Monotron would go for this now since MS-20 is stlll too expensive.Monotron uses the same VCF so I've heard.I think MS-10 sounds good enough. It hasn't got the crazy knob infested look like MS-20 but its simple and compact look is also kinda cool in a way I think.

  • Hi, lolcat 23, where you from?

  • thanks lolcat23

  • Awesome, that sound between 3'50 and 4'10. Could you please tell me exactly the knobs you used and their values? One thing is for shure, you know how to play this powerfull little machine.

  • @0207steve It's a sawtooth with a little bit of sinewave-modulation to the VCO and cranked up the hall reverb on my Yamaha mixer.

  • I bought a ms 10 yesterday for 600 eur. Some may say its a bit expensive, but you must see in what perfect shape this little monster is. It looks brand new and i realise i had a lot of luck by buying this one. The man who sold it to me said he rarely played on it. It even had still the original manual and the second manual of the ms 10 with the setting examples. And he sounds georgious. By the way a very nice video and i learned a few things of it.

  • @0207steve

    /envy

  • I LOVE THIS LITTLE MONSTER !!

  • does this thing have two oscillators or one?

  • @KaslarProductions

The MS-10 only have one oscillator but it's big brother the MS-20 have two.

  • MS-20 for 500$ is RARE. I had a chance to get a MS-10 for 600$.... wish I did'nt pass on that now.

  • naa, i want the virus b next to it. :)

  • I can see why everyone wants one :-)

  • Aren't they delish? I think I saw one at my town's local music shop for 500...actually, I think it's an MS-20.

  • @ec101dm i actually have the Korg DS-10, pretty good simulation of the original MS-10, but still MS-10 is better
