  • You can buy a band for very cheap... I got mine for 6 dollars at a dollar store.

  • Then buy a step and some resistance bands and you can do it at home, simple really! :)

  • @kendraazure09, I don't have resistance bands, but I found ankle weight to be just as effective!

  • As many said, they cannot afford the equipment, so you can do it without the bands and use your hands pushing the inside and outside of the thighs for more resistance.

    Also use a yoga strap instead if you have that or resistance bands that are made of latex. HINT: eBay or Craigslist for cheap stuff.

    Also, if you have some good blankets or comforters you don't use on your bed, fold probably 2 of them on top of each other so you get a small amount of height as a 'bench'.

  • I just did it without a band and instead of the bench I just used a blanket to lie on, and it worked well! Just the movement in itself makes your thighs work and even the abs!

  • Ok to those who dont have an erobic mat with raisers, i used this...

    You know the standard white plastic garden chairs? They have cushion seats, a one piece long cushion that covers the whole chair its pretty long. Thats what I used as my aerobic mat. Since its a cushion, its also pretty comfy.

  • Thanks I tried it & it WORKS! I did not have an aerobic mat I used garden chair cushions. Very comfy actually! Now that I'm done I might just take a nap on them!

  • If you don't have an aerobic step, you can put the band underneath the mat. Sit slightly in front of the band and place on the feet like Nicole showed. Then lie back with knees bent for in starting position. Your butt will keep the band from sliding and the mat (or towel) will keep the band from hurting your skin. I also added some leg scissor exercises and my legs were sore in no time!! Great workout!!!

  • I was thinkin bout using 2 of my armless kitchen chairs tho that sounds a lil crazy...

    A rectangular table should work too, i have a couch table i could use but i can't because my tv n stuff r on it ;/

  • trust me . ...  she's made tons =p the majority of her videos have minimal to no equipment. thats why i love them .

  • What type of aerobics step stool is that? Like, who makes it?

  • This is a standard aerobics step with risers--any step will work. Reebok makes them as do many brands if you google "aerobic step".

  • I do a very similar set of exercises with weights, the stronger you are the heavier you will need.
