I am from India ; I dont know Greek but both film and music cant be bound by the barriers of language. When I first saw the film , I was crying throughout the whole movie . Elina Karaindrou's music , the story , cinematography everything had reached the ultimate levels of perfect film making. I felt my heart was aching ; my eyes had swelled with tears and I was spellbound ........am still under that spell...HATS OFF to the Maestro THEO ANGELOPOULOS.

I just hear of Eleni Karaindrou this weekend since I saw The Weeping Meadow. I loved it, especially the style of the director Theo Andelopoulos and the soundtrack. It's the first Greek film I've ever seen to.
