I was wondering where did you get the circle cutters , also you should make a video of your art tools (: This is the card I'm making this year but I can't make a circle that well.
I was very inspired by this film; I like the muted colours. I have started doing faux stitching which is very effective and much easier than it looks. When I don't have card stock in the right colour, which is often the case, I use white or cream card stock and use my chalks to give the card some colour. I use the chalks by scraping them with a craft knife and then rubbing the dust into the card with a piece of foam. I like your scallop punching.
@nokitscardsfromFi Great idea! I buy a huge stack of card in all sorts of colours from the PaperMill, so I usually have a rainbow of colours on hand. But using chalks would help for those times when there's just not quite the right colour in my stack. TFS!
Oh, I love the stickels dots! They look like gun snow! I was wondering what I am going to do for Christmas cards and your video reminded me I have red and green shiny embossing powder in my stash TFS, love you card!
@ntnab3 So glad you love it! It's my own design & made myself! I'd be happy to make another one for you and put it my my Etsy or Folksy shop if you're interested though? The stamp is made from a similar compound as the clear acrylic ones, it's just a slightly yellowy colour. This doesn't affect performance as the stamped image is still as good as the clear acrylics. =)
Gorgeous card! I have this paper pad...I'll have to get it out and use it. And I'm so glad there's someone else out there who still uses their Coluzzle! I love mine. TFS
@ThePaperCastle I find other cutting systems really fiddly. This one is great! I considered the Martha Stewart one, but can't be bothered with having to temporarily stick my work to my craft mat each time I want to cut a circle. Coluzzles are just the best! =)
Beautiful card! I loved this paper so much I bought two packs last year! i think with this inspiration I will start putting it to good use ;-) TFS, Brigitte
@shoeprincess1 Don't stop at just the snowmen paper...so many more alternatives for a cute border at the bottom of your cards. See my video response for an earlier Xmas video tutorial I did with this set too for more inspiration. =)
i would love to have a colozzle but i can not find one any where!! does any one know where i could get one???
