I want to visit Aswan in Egypt, the birth place of one of the men of the exhaled assembly that is in the Bible and Holy Q'uran. I want to visit Mecca and Medina, Timbuktu, Great Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Sudan and Eritrea.
You will see things like the the mummy of Thutmose the 1st with coarse wooly hair in a 1930s published book by Sir W M Flinders Petrie (renowned Egyptologist of the day) . He's now bald. Or the coal black (always in art) grandmother of renowned Queen Hatshepsut.
I just Love Egypt ...I m dreaming that one day,I will visit the land wich I m inlove with ..I just love the Pyramids, and the Pharaons ..I really love Cleopatra ..Great job you 2 ..Great song !!
Yes, this is wonderful. I actually bought another of their albums "Eternal Egypt" on CD about six years ago. Love these guys. This sounds even better - looks like I'll be buying this album now!
my sister did it, we are both in the craft as it were and she is a psychic she did it. there is a book by derek acorah that can show you a simplified version how to do it you cant do it on yourself, somebody else has to do it for you
Before I die, I have to set foot on the mother land, before I die I have to touch and walk threw the pyramids, as an African-American I will visit Africa and Egypt before I die
@thachozn1429 If you ever do go trust me you wont want to leave : (. I dont know which is worse not going or going and having to leave and im not even egyptian lol. Its a beautiful place.
@thachozn1429 I am "white" and First Nation (Lakota) Yes, you have to visit Egypt and enter the great pyramid, go to the valley of the kings and valley of the queens in upper Egypt. Go down the Nile in a felluca. They say our mother..mother of all nations was from Africa. I found something beautiful and mysterious there. I am certain that you will too. May you be well and happy.
@thachozn1429 The pyramids ok, Sharm Ok, Cairo ok ...
But the real Egypt ahahahhah! Do not even imagine, the streets made of junk, malaria, the stench of rotting flesh that burns the lungs, children seem to ghosts...
Bon Voyage.
Ps:I am for half Egyptian and I lived there for some time. Continue to enjoy this music and its magic ;)
@3AHMAD3 I think we all know now who to blame for that... That grotesk Mobarak is worth over 70 billion dollars. 70 BILLION!! Sickening. He will be accounted for it, now and in the hereafter.
@pack1 I'm Arab and i lived in Egypt for a while, and i can tell u that apart from the large Nubian community there from Aswan, many 'regular' Arab Egyptians have a little black African blood in them; sometimes its noticeable and sometimes its not. It being in North Africa, that shouldnt be surprising...
No it is not suprising. The fact that got me a bit cranky was that many african-americans seems to think that Egyptians were their ancestors. I mean the ancient Egyptians that built the pyramids etc. I don't buy it even on a bad day. The slavetraders got their slaves from sub-saharan Africa. North-africans were from time to time even heavily envolved in the slave-trade of sub-saharan africans. It's just so backwards.
@pack1 Well... if Elizabeth Taylor can play Cleopatra, the African Americans claiming lineage to Ancient Egypt is not so far fetch. Have you seen the monuments? The glyphs? The clothes? The headresses? I mean, there are a lot of coincidences and parallels.
@pack1 Also, many of the Africans enslaved were from groups that migrated west and south of Egypt in lieu of the severe drought and conquest. If you look at the temples and monuments, Ancient Egypt is depicted as lush and green, not sandy desert. Furthermore, did you know there are still remnants of Ancient Egyptian culture in West and sub-Saharan Africa.
@pack1 It's not unfathomable that some of those migrating people were caught up in the slave trade and bought to the Americas and the Caribbean Island. I'm just saying....it's highy possible. Besides, I often wondered, why would a people rob their own tombs and sacred temples? Mmmmm.
@tanycha Robbing tombs was big business in the ancient world as it was in the 20th century, (assuming the black market stopped). Face it money is honey!

Even though you will get sick from the food/bacteria, etc. being different. GO! You will never regret it! I was born in this lifetime a Roman, but I look Egyptian, people told me. I saw more people in MISR that could pass for my family than my family. You will not regret the trip, but make certain that it is safe!!!!!!
Lol, yea God blessed and I went. It was funny, I'm a lightskinned African American and when I was in Cairo and Luxor and wore my shades, everyone thought that I was Egyptian. I left Egypt about 9 months before the Riots and I can honestly say that walking throught the pyramids, the Karnak Temple, the tombs in the Valley of the Kings, and mingling with the Egyptians was one of the most powerful experiences in my life.
