  • "Gerry Cazales: DEVO drummer"? His name is Gerry Casale, and he is DEVO's bassist. Who made this terrible, terrible documentary? And I love Tonight's the Night and On The Beach!

  • Danny Whitten was an amazing talent and that version of Crazy Horse with Neil was otherworldly. Check out live at the Fillmore.

  • lmao 1:25

  • Seems like Neil's got a thing for waitresses...

  • 6:20- Uh punk music? Isn't that Flea?

  • The guy who wrote the Shakey book didn't say Tonight's The Night was bad. He said in the first part that the albums that got him hooked were On the Beach, Tonight's the Night, and Zuma. The guy was giving an example of what the critical reaction was at TTN. I don't know. I like On the Beach, TTN is cool and I have yet to hear Zuma.

  • ...Young drank heavily, and acted badly.....LMAO!!!!!

  • Greg Reeves (the black guy) ... the young bassist for CSN&Y ... was a Motown prodigy ...

    x

  • after the goldrush is phenomenal... still have the vinyl.

    amazing

  • What Crap...On The Beach & Tonights The Night are brilliant albums, maybe the best Neil ever did..

  • can't believe they didn't even mention his 1st son being born...

  • what?? tonites the nite was an awsome record

  • WHAT!?!?!?! they're talking about Rust Never Sleeps which came out in 78 and they're showing footage of young wearing leather with poofy hair obviously from the 80's. this is beyond ridiculous.

  • okay this is kinda pathetic. true neil fans understand that the ditch or "doom" period of the 73-75 is arguably his best artistic period yet they speak of "tonight's the night" asif it was a chaotic hodge podge. furthermore, they show footage of his grunge era in the late 80's and early 90's when they should be showing his dreadlocks of the mid 70's. my two cents.

  • Yes, agreed! David Crosby still thinks CSN was responsible for ending the Vietnam War. For the real story buy "Tonight's the Night" on vinyl and a couple of fifths of Tequila and turn the motherfucker up as loud as it will go. That the real story.

  • Haha ... what a joke, it's so funny seeing the Neil Young Story told in such a corny style... really goes against everything he stood for. Still, it's worth it for the footage, thanks for taking the time to upload, soliloquise.
