I think the reason why everyone is defending Jackie is because like me, saw a mile away that the marriage wasn't meant to be. In this episode, Jackie didn't know it, but deep down I think she was trying to make this situation as her escape route. But she still didn't want to hurt Fred. Dan was right, it was like she almost wanted to be caught. They live in a small town, and she and this Pete guy are at the Lobo? Where everyone knows her? Where anyone she knows could walk in and see her? lol

Jackie wasn't right to be with another man, while she's married in the first place. but i GUESS she had the right to give her side, and THEN have Fred leave her. the writers of ROSEANNE is fucking awesome because it shows both a victim and a villian. and how their lives play out is hella good! Now, that is a damn good point Bunny! If the problem is that the other person expects you to do all the work... then you're being taken advantage of. But, he wanted responsibility in taking care of the baby. And he got it, didn't he? But they worked this out later - he is the homebody and she's the one who needs to go out to have fun sometimes. He didn't make it fair on her. And as for the baby... Dan and D.J. took good care of him when Fred was busy and even when Fred AND Jackie were busy.

Let's just say: Roseanne is only as wrong as Fred is. And Dan is only as wrong as Jackie is.

They are in a marriage. A MARRIAGE. They gave vows. Last time I checked it's a two way street; not just one. How would you feel if you spouse was out with someone of the opposite sex doing what they're doing. No one is perfect, but you make ends meet through the marriage. Fred wasn't a freaking sex-crazed party animal, wild child. It's nice to know that there are yet people who have more to them and their lives than partying and sex.

@RENTluver06 It was perfectly fine for Jackie to go have fun with Stacy. Fred WAS giving her that option to go have fun, he might have not liked it, but he let her. Jackie is in the wrong because she was hiding the fact that she was hanging out with another male and didn't even bother telling Fred. Fred is her husband, not some fling-boyfriend. Jackie married him, she took that choice, he didn't force her to do so. She should have acted like an adult instead of trying to regain some youth.
