hey wait... i think he wasn't 3 years old... he was actually 2 years old... no wait... i think he was actually 1 year old... he couldn't walk but he already banged on the piano! I am sure his parents were very proud!!! look at how he rubs his nose... oh that is so sweet... and certainly better than the mechanical banging on the piano! jewish parents... what they won't do to get their kids to be a "star".
I had the great privilege of having his mom Lil Tiempo as my piano teacher. Sergio is about 33-34 yrs of age. He and his sister Karin Lechner are amazing.
He is from South America. Taking films in colour wasn't really an option then. Not even television studios had many colour cameras.(I now because I'am from Argentina).
Heralded by critics and fellow musicians as one of the outstanding pianists of his generation, Argentine-Venezuelan pianist Sergio Daniel Tiempo has quickly risen to international prominence since making his debut at age 14 on the "Great Pianists" series at the Amsterdam Concertgebouw in 1986. He now appears regularly in recitals and with orchestras in the leading halls of Europe, North America, South America and Japan.
de Venezuela. Hace un mes lo escuché tocar el concierto 1 para piano y orquesta de chopin. que sonido tan impecable. luego tocó el 3er movimiento de la sonata para piano y cello de rachmaninoff.
I think it is great that really young children start listening to classical music and learning music from an early age, even if they dont become musicians. I wish I had started earlier.
oh ya, i think its on a biography thing, this performance, he was like 2 years old and a couple of months! crazy! just a toddler playing Bach - crazy!
Besides all his art and fab piano playing, he is SOOO goodloking! Most artists today are elegant, goodlooking an very easygoing, mind you

Está bien, es un buen resultado después de un duro entrenamiento, pero, ¿Es esto realmente música o solo un espectáculo pirotécnico?

His playing is diabolic. Very musical and artistic. He studied with Alexander Rabinovitch who's a great genius. So lucky this guy!
