great video Chris.Just like Joe said they do at Cranefest last summer.Hopefully you soon.all will be farther south so they don't have to do that !!! looking forward to more clips.

I guess he wouldn't allow his cold little toes to be tickled this morning, eh Chris? (I know, that was 14.) These birds are very instinctive and know how to protect their legs and feet from such cold! Thanks for sharing... we'd never see this behavior otherwise.
