  • great looking bike.. Putting that YZ engine in it was a great idea..

  • Heya, nice MX250! Although when you got to the motor, I will admit, I did facepalm... What was missing from the original engine? If your crank/cylinder/piston were good, you will be fine to reassemble. Any other parts can be sourced from the more common SS/SX 250 engines. EVERYTHING from the crank down is completely interchangable betewwen the MX and street motors. If you were still hesitant to rebuild the MX motor, why not build up a SS/SX? With a good pipe they can make close to the MX's power

  • @JerryMopar , Well, you see in another video I just loaded, you can see the condition of the Motor that was for this bike,, we built this thing to Ahrma race and didnt really want to dump a abunch of money in NOS stuff and turn around in a year or two and have the same condition as its in now. I actually have another bike that is gonna get a light restoration and be for Eye Candy,,,, I did think of the 250 SX motor as a transpant and started looking and they are pricey as well,

  • @JerryMopar Oh yea, Crank and rod and piston was the bad items in the MX motor,

  • The bike turned out nice....
