yeah, but good luthiers ply their wood a lot also because they find the tone to be sweeter or not changed, and they tune it also.

I seen some girl on videa at gibson brush-painting without dust mask as well, actually dust mask isn't enough, there are special ones for that job.

I guess Luthiers have super strong lungs. But just in caste they don't, put the mask on next time, a proper one the one on your head is only good for dust like from wood its really not good against paint vapor.

Looks fun job, where do I sing up for guitar making lessons :P

@Michiganman2cali lol its not instruction video, but you can learn a lot just from watching though, I think there maybe some Lutherans out there ready to teach, Im sure there are still some around :) In fact am thinking myself of it. Seams like awesome job even if one would only make a guitar for himself It still cool :)

All the 'Old Skool' luthiers wear the masks on their head like that. Some of us are hardcore and wear them on the back of our heads. Others are just nutters and don't wear a mask at all! Even though you should ALWAYS wear a mask when spraying!
