  • moving to tokyo wit my camaro!!!

    anybody want to come with?

  • i want to live in japan!

  • That must feel badass, so awesome, so relaxing.

  • old video one... i have dvd since 1999

  • yep thats why i used words like "usually" and "most of" to show i can be open minded in my chosen lifestyle, because this is true, some american cars can do very well in drift. i am curious though, what american cars used in mainstream drifting are lighter than a "classic" AE86 and other old Toyotas? most of them easily falling under 1000kg, even some Nissans and Mazdas can pull this off, however for them it takes some pretty descent mods

  • LOL i can't even drift in a video game!

  • inline 4 is where its at, i want those yellow jdm lights for sure

  • Muscle cars , if tuned right , can possibly drift ...

But it will very difficult to control its counter steer and oversteer =="

  • Check out the bcrash arriers on the side of :-D

  • @MrFuckingGookHMoob; bro ur right. Japanese all the way!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You will never see a pussy American muscle car drift like that!

  • @MrFuckingGookHmoob "Pussy" muscle cars? You do realize not only do these big V-8 muscle cars kick the shit out of little Japanese cars in performance alone, but most of them are FR layout, making drifting in them completely possible, right? I love imports, but you're a ricer faggot and so's the idiot that agreed with your ignorant ass. Go look up Challenger drifting or even Mustang drifting, and then try to talk shit.

  • @couchfort its not that muscle cars cant drift, its that they are usually too big and/or too heavy to keep up with a jappa which can easily out maneuver most of them with ease

  • @25det Actually Mustangs and Camaros are fairly small and nimble, hence the nickname "Pony cars" for American cars in that class, weighing as much and in some cases lighter than "classic" Japanese drift cars. Even the new Challenger is of reasonable weight. And lighter doesn't always mean faster, especially if the heavier car can push harder (more torque) than the lighter car. I'm not saying one is better than the other, but I am saying there should be a little more open mindedness on the matter

  • 3:19 These guys are definitely insane. XD

  • man i love actual footage like this

  • men I LIKE THIS but is very slow

  • japanese People: Kings of Drifting

South korean People: King of StarCraft

American People: King of McDonalds! ;)

  • @TheDailyNewsPost So true.

  • @TheDailyNewsPost yes as an American i will sadly agree with you...

  • Good old fashioned drift,....

  • go jump over a cliff damn ricerz

  • @Tarla79 lol? lets see you do that...oh u cant no balls or skills u suck ^^

  • fucken sick .. i love parallel drifting .. and at night even better lol

  • @Palasorasrex the word you're looking for is tandem.

  • @KayC2SLO its known as both in japan

  • did yousee the car they nearly missed as the was drifting....these guys are serious drivers..........wow

  • dam! initial d makes this look so easy. oh well... the night sky there is deep blue. nothing compared to this one. pitch black man! pitch black! how'bout that?

  • Tokio Drift 2 :D

  • @JazzLmd they are thinking about making a second one that picks up from the begging of Sean and Dom's race

  • @SuperAnimekid i hope so. :D

  • touge for life!

  • its not the same drifting in a parking lot or around a corner if diffrent than doing it in the mountain ive tryi it before and and i almost ate it on the 6th corner i took in my local pass, because their if always the downfoward momentum present u feel as you just go faster and faster quick, and if you fuck up on youre braking then their no hope to recover from the understeer, this is 5x scarier the drifting in leveled ground TRUST ME.

  • @Sonicku i kno what you mean its real hard on elevation

  • @Perazzi11 no, going downhill is less forgiving. going uphill is easier.

  • IS MORNING ?

  • 1:52 IS DAY?

  • that was one hearty laurel. taxi rep haha.

  • Live action Initial D?

  • pretty much is

  • I was stationed in okinawa. these mountain roads had 0 cars on them after 11. It was like your own track.

  • i wanna learn how to drift

  • yeh drifting on a public road isnt cool but this video is to good to be dissing would have to admit if i could i would be there aswell :)

  • I think Bridgestone just made their quota this month.

  • sick, did you see that other car, jst waiting and watchin them go past?

  • sick ass driftin man one day im gonna do that

  • keep dreaming.. you fuck up with it and your dead or in jail

  • i believe in you mate you can do it

  • i dont agree with drifting on publc roads but im not gonna pretend like this wasnt incredible

  • dude its the best on the street

  • yeah, fuck parking lots. that gets old quick. the best is subdivisions under cunstruction and country back roads wehre you see like 1 or 2 cars an hour

  • lulz @ 3:18

  • Comment removed

  • you guys are probably thee most skilled drivers on the planet. Japan in general. Kudos!

  • cool as fook. i wish i could do that in my r33

  • i wish i had an r33 to begin with.

  • @gbsons

begin with an ae86 tureno good starter ^^

  • how isi this fake u fucking moron

  • lol 3:20

and for those who dont know,

they are able to drift at night in

    public streets because they do

    road blocks sometimes.

    RESPECT!

  • um idk if your correct about that....

they drift at night in mountain passes or they will go to the industrial district and drift at night there seeing as there isent much traffic in the industrial district...

  • yeah, true

    but some drifters

    have a team of lookouts

    and road blocks.

    My friend told me.

    He once drifTed in japan

  • Yes, we occasionally put out roadblocks, but that's pretty rare. The industrial parts of Yokohama tend to be totally deserted by the time we actually get out to race. As for police, well, they tend not to care, as long as the racing stops when they drive by...

  • truck where are you in canada im in t-dot lol

  • check my drifting vid

  • close the road first!

  • you can't just shut down a mountain road jesus fucking Christ how dumb of a comment is that yes tell the police were going to shut down a mountain pass so we can do something we could kill our selfs doing not going to happen.

  • what i meant was block it off with a few cars, i've seen it done here in canada once (middle of the night on a small and unpopular pass) and i've heard about it being done in japan a lot

plus, sometimes racing clubs really do book a road to be shut down if it's not an essential route

  • ah ok i just wasn't under standing what you were saying they do the same thing here for drag racing and surprisingly enough the cop don't care because it is a unused road you might see 2 cars on it during the day.

  • The poor soul going to work @3:20. These guys sure kick started his day.

  • Cool video.

  • thats why we pay tax. so we can drift all we want on public street.. good for u guys. i wish i could do d same shit here..

    ;(

  • beeeautifull scene....

  • wow...all i said was judgementewb is stupid 4 thinking hes the only smart one and now evry1 is talkn bout spelling and shits that isnt car realated? this is y youtube gets on my nervs..ppl like u guys who stay on othr ppl's business..and i do kno how 2 spell.i just think its unnecessary to spell out evrything complete online or on a phone. and if ppl dont like dat then it doesnt mean ppl should comment on it. i kno its fredom speech but fuck man,lol

  • Uh... that shit is car related(From what i've seen of what he said, quote it if you want to prove wrong)

And it is extremely hard to understand huge text blocks with chatspeak or leetspeak or whatever we are calling it nowadays.

  • That looks like alot of fun. Something I'd do in the future

  • well i for one think this is a good video. skill and big balls. can i ask why do people like to make the small guy feel even smaller by ripping on them about the way they spell. i have a bad spelling problem my self but some time's ist not lazyne's (see) it can be to do with the brian as well. try to think how small you would feel if it was you.

  • its crazy how they all go in the same pace and keep in same track

  • aka tandeming

  • lol .. like in tokiyo drift ... awesome ..

  • they make it look so easy!

  • the real deal nice :)

  • thanks for posting that judgementnewb im glad to know that im not the only smart one on youtube

  • u really think there r that many stupid ppl 2 tha point wer ur tha only smart 1? i think ur one of the many dumb heads n youtube for sayn dat

  • that wasnt even a proper sentance, and your grammer just gave me a headache

  • and the comment for the proper sentence is for skoobertdoo, it just didnt match it up with his for some reason

  • yea i didnt know youtube is my english test...i guess u must not text alot or sumshyt

  • nah i text more than 4000 messages a month, but i at least take the time to make real sentences

  • and thats why the world thinks that us americans are lazy and stupid thats why you should not drop out jethro

  • you know what you are right and i think your outstanding grammer proves that you are far smarter than i am. but in all honesty half the people on youtube try to explain shit and have no real grasp of the anything car related. o and by the way i didnt actually mean that i was the only smart one. its called sarcasm. or should i say: yo its cald sakasm dagg!!!

  • a backfire is caused by excess amounts of gas exiting the cylinder before the combusts but heat from the exhaust manifold, or currently combusting mixture ignites that excess fuel and air causing the now burning fuel to pop out of the back of the exhaust. its not nitrous oxide, just bigger injectors and a non proper tune for streetability, more tuned for power.

  • Close... It's actually induced by either the rev limiter (as seen in the vid) or by having a BOV (Blow off valve) set to vent to atmosphere. When the car hits the rev limiter the ECU messes with the fuel to stop the car from over revving. The extra fuel igniting in the exhaust causes the back fire you are seeing. In the case of the BOV, when you shift the BOV releases air the atmosphere that the ecu has accounted for resulting in a rich condition and a back fire. As for the tune, they sound fine

  • ya that is true, but you can have a backfire without a turbo or rev limiter, just is more common on them, my friends stock civic backfired...which of course is not a good sign hahah

  • not good at all.

  • i love it!!!!

  • that wasn't nitrous it was a backfire due to the cars set up id explain but im not sure how to and a backfire isn't caused by nitrous

  • easy to explain. rev limiter cuts the ignition leaving unburnt fuel. when ignition cuts back in it ignites the unburnt fuel. read more about 2 step / rev limiters / anti-lag. good knowledge to know

  • umm are we talking about drifing or NOS>>???

how can thy see in the dark?? dang T__T

  • oh shut up u smart ass cunt !!!!!!!!! sum1z cleva in they

  • nitrous... i hate it when people say nos... gives a significant torque boost... the extra torque depending on timing can be used as an exit strategy for a turn or if you're not getting enough power to slip your wheels during a drift, nitrous is good stuff. nabs use it in straights though

  • not tying to start anything but you know NOS is a company that makes Nitrous right? :D

  • exactly why i say i hate it when people say NOS and not nitrous lol

  • Unless it is in fact NOS right? lol and not like NX or something

  • lol stop trying to corner me, i'll still call it nitrous regardless if it says LOLOLOLNOSCAN, NOS, or even the half assed NX

  • lol I wasnt trying to Corner you. I would so Use a can of "LOLOLOLNOSCAN" lmao

  • right? thats the next generation in nitrous rofl

  • Hell yeah lol

  • lol just to get tech on your ass... nitrous isnt correct either! Its Nitrous Oxide! (N2O) And for the irony factor, the nitrous component is redundant! Its the oxygen that provides the potential energy, that increases the power output! :P

  • haha lol

  • thats not a nos it just a backfire

  • unknown your wrong about real drifters not using nos.

Toshiki Yoshioka drifts an ae86 and uses nos to get more hp for sliding straight aways. he is a d1 drifter too. one of the best. search his name and youll see

  • 3;35 nice

  • this dudes can drive!.. fo sho.

  • ~hey boys~

  • look at that huge misfire at the end!

  • lol at 1:53 the railings are bashed in on the right side of the road

  • streetracerm5 is right nitro is not useful when drift!!!!

  • You were watching F&F too much times. Nitro is not useful when drifting. OMG

  • Nos hahahahaha haHAHAAahahahh ,.... umm AAHAhaHAHahahahahah .... AAHAHAAHHA go back to house timmy and quit watching too much TV

  • cuz this is not need for speed!

  • nos is not that good for your car it may just blow your engine anyways real racers and drifters don't use nos

  • THIS IS JAPAN JUST LOOK @ THE ROAD SIGN.

  • looks like a honda prelude, and 80's model

  • I dont see anything showing this is japan

  • ive seen it before.

  • You know what do I think is a pointless waste of metal? A ferrari enzo or a veyron. Those cars really don't deserve their prices.

  • i agree 100 percent like a paper cup with wheels

  • welll kinda..the prices are pretty shitty, considering that you can pay just a bit of money and make a supra faster then any ferrari. but still the veyron is a pretty sick car

  • The price of engineering should always outweigh the price of aesthetics.

That is why I love JDM cars, you basically pay for a 'blank canvas' which you can tune up to your own personal tastes, instead of buying this ridiculously overpriced European engine and chassis with a (usually good looking) body slapped on top.

JDM - simple, smart, and KICK ASS!!

  • mostly carbon fibre lightweight polymers with the enzo. as for the veyron they lose money on every sale they make because it was built purely as a design exercise.

  • I can see you clearly don't know much about the AE86 or Initial D.

  • chances are i finished watching every season of initial d before you even knew what anime was.

it was a great show when i was 16 and knew SFA about mechanics or racing or drifting. the only reason the car is pop is because it was cheap and trashable and rwd. you must have a rather astute understanding of the human mind if you can ascertain my knowledge of a motor vehicle based only on my opinion of it.

  • those guys were great! they drifted so near to each other! initial d should find drivers like those in the movie!

  • lol nice is there any ae86 i cant see properly in dis clip

    nice drifting

  • damn! dude in the black s13 is GETTING it!

  • Oh holy shit wow nice pretty drift. Why this teach that shit. Magic drift!? I'm good drift. Rule Japan awesome.

  • would it be a dishoner to mess up on a race while drifting?

  • Japan have the craziest and most kickass drifters.

Japan is where drifting began FTW.

  • lol apperently u dono anything drifting was with us all time but never really made it into a fad or sport till tesusa keiichi or what ever his name started drifting. but then again rally racing has drifting for long time

  • Yes, vietnamese people are good at drifting.

  • Thats some fucked up crazy Japanese madness big respect........awsome ;O)

  • When me and my family were stationed in Japan, just about every car have drift mods. It was incredible how smooth they would take corners.

  • well japanese cars are good for turning other than speed wise

  • no comment but cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool!

  • wish my ford taurus could drift like that

  • it suffers from front wheel drive sickness

  • incredible!!!!

  • If I was in that van at 3:18 I would have crapped my pants in joy.

  • that is true fucking drifting and where it all started. i would like to c any none japanese drifters do this mate.what absolute skill

  • well the last east vs. west shootout. The americans won. so americans beat them at their own game.

  • Amazing Vid. and high skill driving......... awesome.....

  • Nice video, this might be seen as reckless driving on the streets but these people can drive!

  • this is awesome

  • No please, leave these stupid things to the young fat americans ... do not imitate it's so stupid

  • drifting never die in japan

  • Had me on the edge of my seat!! I fuck wit drifting thou

  • Can it be true that drifting is dying out? Oh man that makes my stomach hurt.. here in the usa I am such a big fan.. I can not imagine life without drifting or race queens.

  • And then i pooped in a glass of vomit and drank it wit biiiiig fucking smile on my face!

  • man drifting is dying out in japan... good thing america is picking it up

  • america is over hyping drifting.

  • nice!

  • I love this kind of drifing , some people here think yust buy a porsch or benz and cruising arround without skill but thes is the real skill of drifing

  • nice touge in Hibaraki-ken

  • love it

thats some crazy touge right there

  • hm....
