What about the rare as hell to find Gold colour crystal from Kotor I (the crystal design is the same as Bronze from KotOR II but the colour it produces is Yellow, same as the Yellow crystal, just like how Bronze and Orange are different crystals that make the same colour), I still to this day have only found it twice, once on my first ever playthrough (Darkside Female), and on my last playthrough on X-Box 360 (Lightside Male with his Canon face, what a guess)

Not sure what it's called in English. In romanian/french (I imagine) it's a nuance. The word exists in English too but I'm not sure it means the same thing. I think the EN alternative is 'shade' .

In physics, white is not a single color, but rather a perfect combination of all the colors of the visibile spectrum.

@coolboialex everything is different each time you go through the game in KOTOR2, so there's no telling were you'll find them. And there is no cyan or silver crystals in KOTOR1.

actually there is a cyan in kotor 1 and an orange one as well, although they have different names, the cyan is called Mantle of the Force and the orange is Heart of the Guardian, these crystals were only in the PC version of the game though

oh just a heads up Red... symbol of the Sith. it does not really matter, you could still be a good Jedi and still wield a red Lightsaber the color does not effect witch side of the force your on. its your force powers and your feelings and actions what indicates what side of the force your on.

You can get cyan and bronze in the first one but they aren't called cyan and bronze.

Cyan is called "Mantle of the Force" and can be bought on Yavin Station for

25,000 Credits

Bronze is called "Heart of the Guardian" and can be bought on Yavin Station for

20,000 Credits

P.S. Yavin Station can only be accessed through the PC version or through an Xbox live update. Both of the crystals can only be bought after finding the last star map but before you go to the star forge.

@InsanityCap I know it was originally just blue and red. but in ROTJ, when Luke was rescuing Leia, Han and Chewie, the rotoscopers were afraid blue wouldn't look good with a blue background(Tatooine's sky). So they made it green so that it would look clearer. What i was asking was why did Lucas only make an exception for Sam Jackson. I mean, everyone should have been able to choose their own colors, y'know?

Cyan seems like a lighter blue

Veridian seems like a darker green

Bronze looks very similar to Orange

Silver is beautiful and unique though, and Violet is also very beautiful.

Personally using dual sabers with Silver and Violet would be my ideal choice. Twice the power crystal bonuses, emitters, lenses, and power cells than Single Saber or Staff Saber, but it still only requires Two Weapon Fighting similarly to how Staff requires it for efficiency.

Well I got a Solari crystal in the Trayus Academy in my path to the light side.

For some reason I got it from a Sith Soldier's remains... well at least there was a workbench to upgrade my Bronze Lightsaber.

people the crystal drops in kotor 2 are random there is only 1 that you can definitely get and that is the silver.

I recently acquired a Silver crystal as a drop from one of the scouts you have to kill in the Dxun jungle. I'm assuming that you can't get a cyan crystal until near the end of the game, seeing as this video shows the cyan lightsaber being used on Malachor V.

@namekman01 Historically, there's a very strong association with Red & the Sith, as the Sith discovered how to create Synthetic (Red) Crystals with Dark Side powers. Since Jedi didn't approve of using Synth Crystals (only natural ones), so the colour became exclusive to the Sith.

In KOTOR time, after Sith Acolyte called Haazen started to use Red crystals instead of Jedi crystals, Revan & Malak also followed. In Revan's Sith Empire, Red Crystals became known as "the staple of Darksiders".

1. The natural ones are supposed to be "unsuitable" for lightsabers, but somehow you can attach them in KOTOR (from Crystal Cave) :)

2. Historically, Red is for the Sith as explained - so when I made DS walkthroughs, I consciously chose Red crystals to go with the story line.

3. In early days, the Sith used to use Sith Blades rather than lightsabers, I believe.

4. When Jedi were forced to use Synth Crystals, they used different formula to create the different colors.

@grungeluvr To help Geeda, you need to finish Dantooine and Dxun/Onderon. As for Dantooine, finish the battle between Khoonda & Mercenaries. As for Dxun/Onderon, finish the Royal Palace battle. You can then go back to Geeda and tell her that the trade routes are open :)

Yes, I'm well aware of that. Not too many are because most of the people who played KotOR1 played it on Xbox. Yavin IV was an exclusive planet to the PC version, so the HotG and MotF crystals weren't in the Xbox versions unless you had Xbox Live to download Yavin IV as DLC.

How to get Cyan crystal well you gotta be a guardian male or female first dont get any crystals on telos no color crystals power and attack crystals are ok before you go to telos say that its been so long i forgot its color then get the lightsaber parts when you have them save your game and keep creating your lightsaber until you get the crystal

You could do that, or just save Jorran and ask to buy the Jedi artifacts he found at the sublevel in Dantoonie. He will either give you the Viridian or Cyan crystal. I recommend saving before you ask him. Because if you want Cyan and he gives you Viridian, you'll want to reload your game and ask him again. :)

Cyan is awesome by the way. Red, Orange/Bronze, and Cyan are my top three favorite lightsaber crystals.

My favorite color is red. Red is also a retro Lightsaber color and is one of the first two lightsaber colors to appear in the Star Wars movies. Isn't a Lightsaber supposed to reflect you anyways? So that's why when I either go light side or dark side, I always use the red Lightsaber color crystal. As for the Lightsaber itself, I usually use the double-bladed. I find the double-bladed lightsaber to be much stronger than wielding one saber or duel sabers, but that's just my opinion.

The items are randomized in KOTOR2, so you just have to rely on luck.

In my experience, 90-95% of the time I find all crystals if I search all containers and remains. Also if you compete the side quests which reward you with a lightsaber, it may be attached with rare coloured crystals.

I wish I could, but there are many debates what combination of crystals are the best - some people go for "Critical Hits", some go for "Power", or "Defensive" etc... it all depends how you prefer to fight.

In my walkthorughs, I went for "guaranteed" damage with lots of power. So the choice of crystals were "Solari", "Upari", "Sapith", and "Krayt Dragon".

You must mean one of Zeison Sha or Jal Shey series. Yes it's very contradictory there is no greater robes than these armors in KOTOR2.

But I got changed to Jedi Master Robes for the endings of my LIght & Dark Side walkthroughs, because I felt it's appropriate to finish in traditional attire :)

you can get an orange and a light blue crystal from yavin space station in KOTOR 1, althou they cost 45000 credits combined, but they also have other powers besides looking different, they boost the properties of the sabers other crystals. you also can get some of the best equipment (best blasters, droid armour, infinite droid flamethrower etc.) there, too. definetly something everyone should check out!

The light blue lightsaber crystal you get from the Yavin Space Station is called "Mantle of the Force."

Canonically, Revan used this lightsaber crystal, making Duron Qel-Droma's vision true. Revan defeated Malak with that cyan lightsaber.
