  • God Damn. I had this exact car except mine was a stage 1 with exhaust through the rear bumper. I sold it in the late 70s with 115,000 miles. I got twice what I paid for it. Only 81 Stage 1 convertables were built in 1972. Apparently I was a moron in my early 20s

  • wrong hood for a 72

  • @19Clutch69 What are the differences on the '70-'71 hood & the '72 hood?

  • Bumpers are 1971. Color is from 1972 as is the grill. Looks like another skylark in wolfs clothing.

  • Wow. You are so observant about this car. I ran out to check my grill and you are correct. The grill is wrong. My Grandfather passed away, and I was given a fully restored 1972 GS. I wish mine was convertible, but I love mine just the same. Candy apple red with light grey interior. It's definitely an eye catcher!! What a beautiful car this is in the Orange. Love it!!!

  • wow

  • wrong grill for 72

  • i'm willing to buy a Buick GS 1972; where can i restore it (like this one)?

  • Oh, I wouldn't want you to do that - how would you enjoy the car then. :p

That was one fine car though, and a wicked car auction - lots of great cars!
