Wow! This was made by my husband for me before we were married. The first part of our relationship was long distance and Run was our song due to all the complexities in our relationship. We've been married 4 years now. We are once again having to live apart as he got his dream job and I had to stay behind to sell the house. So hard. I can't wait to be right beside him again. i think the only people who will love\like\apperciate this anime would be the ones who know what they are both feeling its one thing to understand but its another to know.. the distance between has no limits but the love is everlasting to me it made me cry and was a great anime may have been low budget but... i think it should be ALOT longer it needs to be a true movie <3 =]

This music goes so amazingly well to the images from this particular anime, I found it so hauntingly beutiful that it drove me to actualy seek out this anime and watch it. But, sorry to say to fans of 'voices of a Distant Star', got bored on the first 10 minutes. Maybe i'll give it another go in the future and it just needs more time. I find myself prefering my thoughts on what the anime could be about from this video than what the reality was from watching the first few minutes. :(

I cried so much watching Voices...it touched my heart in so many ways. I want more people to see it, it's so underrated. As a piece of art, Voices is truly incredible. Sure, it was low budget, so it doesn't really look uber fantastic, but the feeling in it, the raw emotion, the bittersweetness, it just really reaches ones' soul, as art should.

<b>Voices of a Distant Star-</b>Its about a couple, Noboru and Mikako. Mikako gets forced into the fight against an alien invader, The Tarsians, and they exchange intersteller text messages, but the farther she gets from Earth the longer it takes for the messages to arrive. It's the most beautiful anime i've ever seen. The anime that <b>Hazeleyedtaurus</b> described was his second film "The Place Promised in our Early Days", another beautiful film.

Basically three friends dream and plan to take a plane to a forbidden tower and destroy it..however one of their friends goes into a mysterious coma (the girl)and they struggle with their goal they then manage to get the ship going and the main character does all he can in his power to see that the girl travels with him to the tower.

Really great AMV mate! The song was so right! I love the song (and the band, snow patrol) and I think the movie is really touching. I didn't see the movie before I saw this AMV. What I wanted to say is that the feeling was really good in this AMV and I felt like I had to watch the movie after seeing this, great job indeed!

there is in a way, the director makes stories like this. You might want to check out "Byousoku 5cm per second" and "The Place Promised in Our Early Days." These two story/movie are both from the same director.

I just watched this movie about 5 min ago, and I decided to look on youtube and see what there was. I absolutely loved the movie, and I think that you did a great job on this AMV. I think you really captured the feel of the movie. God, it was so sad though! :-(
