hey gorgeous!i'm over 40 and i've been having an issue with my "drooping" facialfeatures for the last 4-5 years. you are the 1st!! make up artist able to give me a solution!this thing you say about highlighting in an upword motion close to the mouth and this "halfmoon" in the forhead- makes a HUGE difference to me. thank u soo much for sharing youre knowledge. and for the first time i noticed why its been impossible to follow "usual"rules? for contouring - my lower part of the face is smaller.

I have to agree with a lot of the comments on here. The actual tutorial is really informative and useful but the wording can be slightly offensive and uncomfortable at times. I accept that with the language barrier, it may be an issue to get the correct words but I think it needs to be worked on so as to not lose out on subscribers etc. Keep up the good work though and I look forward to seeing more tutorials :)

To everyone else, if you do not like the videos...do not watch them! She says oval is the normal face, watch any other face shape or contouring video and you will see that everyone says the oval face is the ideal face shape. When you contour you are trying to make your face look more oval! Stop reading to much into things.

The wrong shape? The right shape? A lot of people watch your videos, probably a lot of impressionable teenage girls. Maybe be a bit more careful with your language. You don't wanna give people body image issues. I think magazines do enough of the damage as it is.

There is not wrong shape, please dont misunderstand me! However, an oval face is considered to be a standard. Some people have a squared face, round or heart-shape... in this case people might want to use contouring in order to make their faces more oval looking.

If you use a foundation tone 2-3 tones darker than you skin is for countoring and 2-3 tones lighter foundation for highlighting, it should suit you well.. The product that I use for highlighting is ok too actually, it will give you beautiful glow...

Normal meaning a standard in makeup world. And standard is oval. Therefore, if you are contouring and highlighting and you have a round face (or any other face shape, but not oval) you try to make it looking as close to oval as possible.

And of course it is not bad if the face is not normal=oval, because it is small imperfections that make us look beautiful! :)

Yes, you can use powder! But! Be careful, because if your skin is oily, the powder can a little bit change the color after a while!
