It's good to say the mantra. Verily, that is the most important thing in the Baha'i Faith. Too bad Baha'is don't realize it. I started saying the Baha'i mantra the very 1st week I was a Baha'i (35 years ago) because I saw it in the "synopsis." The Baha'is said "Oh, the western Baha'is are not under the Aqdas yet, you don't have to do that." My attitude was, "God wants me to say this? I'll say it." I found that the founders were mystical; but Baha'is are anti-mystical. Very good mantra though.

I worked very closely for many years in my profession with gays of both genders and I love them to pieces. The Baha'i Writings tell us not to have contempt for or despise, or hate, or look down upon gays at all or behave in any other way except in a loving manner. The Writings also tell us, repeat, tell US not to engage in homosexual acts. It is not something we are in any way trying to impose on anyone else so there is no homophobia in our Faith or bigotry.

5- Surely as a christian you expect His return. According to the Bible, what are the criteria that you are to judge if the claim of the one to be Christ returned can be verified? Will it surprise you to learn that Jesus himself says that there is only one criterion to judge the truthfulness of the claimant? "Ye shall know Him by His Fruits". Any other condition that you come up with is falsehood and baseless!

Outside of the teachings, you can see that Christians used the Bible to confirm this, and Jesus even talked about 2 woes that would come close together, similar to Muhammads prediction. Muhammad was the first woe spoken of. Repeatedly, the year 1260 is noted in the bible, this is 1260 years after Muhammad, 1844 AD. The evidence is there if you'd open your eyes.

It's good to say the mantra. Verily, that is the most important thing in the Baha'i Faith. Too bad Baha'is don't realize it. I started saying the Baha'i mantra the very 1st week I was a Baha'i (35 years ago) because I saw it in the "synopsis." The Baha'is said "Oh, the western Baha'is are not under the Aqdas yet, you don't have to do that." My attitude was, "God wants me to say this? I'll say it." I found that the founders were mystical; but Baha'is are anti-mystical. Very good mantra though.

I worked very closely for many years in my profession with gays of both genders and I love them to pieces. The Baha'i Writings tell us not to have contempt for or despise, or hate, or look down upon gays at all or behave in any other way except in a loving manner. The Writings also tell us, repeat, tell US not to engage in homosexual acts. It is not something we are in any way trying to impose on anyone else so there is no homophobia in our Faith or bigotry.

Anyone who joins the Faith does so of his/her own accord and no one is forced to comply with anything. The holy land for bahai is there only because Baha'u'llah was exiled there, but Akka and Haifa in that time were in PALESTINE. And it's impossible to be a satanic cult for bahai religion, because Baha'u'llah said that Muhammad, Jesus and Moses were all Messengers of God, and their religion as the right faith; how can it be satanic if it recognise all these religions?

@jazzistc By your reasoning, Christianity is a Jewish sect. What you speak of is exactly what Bab and Baha'u'llah claim. Outside of the teachings, you can see that Christians used the Bible to confirm this, and Jesus even talked about 2 woes that would come close together, similar to Muhammads prediction. Muhammad was the first woe spoken of. Repeatedly, the year 1260 is noted in the bible, this is 1260 years after Muhammad, 1844 AD. The evidence is there if you'd open your eyes.

Theres is a difference between religion and spirituality and there is also a difference between religion and its dogmatists (ie Radical Christians and Wahabi Muslims) who literally and radically misinterpret their holy books)

Interesting to note that MOST parents & Prophets fail at teaching their own children. The village teaches them! If we judge people's righteousness by the way their children turn out look at the Father of all mankind,Allah & how his first children & his first grandchildren turned out. Allah couldn't even blame a huge corrupt society for dragging them into sin and murder! He could only blame Himself for their sin, or the INDIVIDUAL!
