  • Grapeseed oil is the best! Way better than olive oil.

  • I use chilled green tea on sunburns. More available than fresh aloe vera and natural.

  • Where can I buy the sweet almond oil?

  • @culaterbaby86 at a natural food store

  • Is sweet almond and argan oil safe for those of us prone to milia around our eyes?

  • @knitdummy I would use argan oil, it does not clog the pores !

  • @glamology Thanks! I'll give it a try (if I can find it!).

  • Why is she talking like William Shatner?

  • @MystiqueProphecy lol is that the star trek guy ? It was not intended if so xoxoxo

  • @glamology lol yes

  • I remove blackheads by mixing bit of toothpaste and salt. First I wet my towel with some hot water and put it on my face to open the pores. Then I put the mixture on my nose and leave it there for 5 minutes (you can use it on whole T-zone if needed). After 5 minutes, gently massage it for a while. Wash the mixture from your face and for the finish close the pores with cold water to keep away the bacterias. Easy and cheap. Try it. :-)

  • I make a facial scrub using sugar and olive oil mixed with fresh squeezed lemon juice. It works well, i use it every other day

  • @acornelf love it!!!! Im going to try this

  • Thank u sooooo much!! I love ur vid n m gonna suscribe ;)

I wouldnt rly use lemons cuz i did once tht lemon-sugar treatment n i "burnt" my skin. (dunno how 2 call it.. When u put pure acid on ur skin itll hurt n it makes dissapear ur skin)

I love to use baking soda for my face. Jst mix it up with a tiny bit of water (should look lyk n paste) n apply it (best with a brush) on ur face. Leave it for 5-10min on n wash it off. It reduces the blackheads!! I got lots of them on my nose n now there js

  • @flyQueeniefly Sweet !!!! thanks for your helpful tips xoxox

  • @elleestamusant you are welcome

  • 'SIMPLE' skincare products claim to be chemical free but ive always had my doubts, should i be doubtfull?

  • @elleestamusant Yes, don't trust any companie's claim check the ingredients for yourself. You can use cosmeticdatabase{dot}com to find out about products or ingredients. :)

  • @elleestamusant if you have doubts Always read the ingredient list. If they only have key ingredients avoid the line. or check out the cosmetic database

  • Isn't salicylic acid good for unclogging pores? Some people find it extremely beneficial...

  • @MantaoManjyu hi :) In the beauty field we are taught to over exfoliate are skin like using salicylic acid , glycol, citric acid etc. For result fast ! this causes dependent on the product and striping your skin's natural barrier of protection. You may not see these affects now but will in the future with sun damage, Broken capillaries, premature aging. There are may natural products out there to unclog pores with out the harsh affects to the skin.

  • how do you remove foundation before cleansing with lemon juice/acv?

  • @runnslow good question, lemon juice should be able to remove foundation due to how acidic it is, if you have mascara on try olive oil to remove or coconut oil. if you prefer a safe cleanser I love karen botanicals !

  • im just starting to get natural products and paraben free ones

  • how exactly is bha harmful for your skin? If that's even what you said at the beginning of the list

  • Ever heard of pearl powder? Was wondering if you've researched it.

  • thanks - great video

  • I have this lemon juice at home but it also has sodium benzoate and some sorta sulfite ,can I still use it as a cleanser ? And I like moisturizing with coconut oil at night not really in the day unless my skin is really dry and I also tone my face only at night...is this stuff ok or should I make my skin care routine more constant ?

  • @AquaCatClaws whatever works for your skin is fine :) if your skin doesn't need cream everyday then dont. if you have good results stick with it. I would only use the lemon as a cleanser. if this is not enough. I love karen botanical lemon mint cleanser natural and free of chemicals

  • I use Tea tree oil as a spot treatment and cocoa butter as my leave in conditioner.

  • @maneatingsushi Im talking about the synthetic chemical not from lemons :)

  • Great video! Thank you so much!!!!

  • @KMARISHKA you are very welcome

  • do you really need to do that thing with your hands? lmao

  • @AileenJellyBeanzz LOL Yes this is how I talk :)

  • For lemon as a cleanser, do you dab it on your skin and leave it on or wash it off? does it make you prone to sun burns?

  • @khansaaab use a cotton to apply and then wash this off. It you have oily skin this should not cause you to burn make sure you wear your sunscreen !

  • The best way to soften cuticles is to take a shower then do you mani pedi right after. I actually keep a cuticle stick in my shower.

  • saycilic acid helps reduce pimples that why its there is most cleansers, 2% should be the highest rate of saycillic acid more is harmful to the skin.

  • @browncrown123 there are other ways of reducing pimples there is no need to put in chemicals such as saycillic acid. if you would like options I would be happy to help.

  • @glamology I suffer from occasional breakouts that take a long time to heal. I would really appreciate it if you could make a video that could help me get rid of/prevent pimples with natural ingredients.

  • I JUST FOUND THE BEST THING FOR MY ACNE!!! YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS! squeeze lemon juice on a cotton round and sprinkle on some organic NATURAL sugar (non dyed kind). Scrub your face. Wash off. Then put plain lemon juice on your face and leave on for 5 minutes. It made my skin amazingly smooth and bright! Saved my skin!

  • Your videos are so inspiring! I'm starting to green up my makeup cabinet to start a healthier lifestyle, inside and out. Thanks so much!

  • @VanityMilk you are very welcome thank you for the lovely comment :)

  • great informative video. Thank you so much!

  • honey & natural cane brown sugar together becomes a wonderful scrub~ nice~ ^^

  • I mix plain yogurt, honey and turmeric powder for my facial cleanser , it help purify my skin and prevent pimples. And a thick paste of plain yogurt and turmeric powder for my night acne treatment.

my night serum is mix of grapeseed oil, vitamin E, and EPO, it's not greasy and absorbed fast, and the result is unbelieveable

  • what about olive oil as a moisturizer??? is that ok???

  • @urilcamm I haven't tried , I would recommend argan or jojoba oil for face :)

  • @urilcamm olive oil is an AMAZING moisturizer, amazing, makes dry skin soft and oily makes normal

i tried and i had really oily skin and now its awesome

    good luck with it

  • almond as an overnight intensive hair conditioner! works a treat n reduces breakage!

  • I use rose water as a face toner, olive oil for my make up remover, and strawberry juice as an acne fighting toner :)

  • @AmberRaffile I have to try this Strawberry Juice !!!

  • I have been breaking open a Vitamin E and using it on my face after my shower at night and before putting on make up. I LOVE LOVE LOVE, how it tightens my skin and gives it a smoothing look. Commerical lotions and makeup always advertise that they add vitamin E.. I say put it straight on your face!..its a great anti-aging and antioxidant for the skin. The D-Alpha Tocopherol is the best for topical use. I'm 41 and love the results.

  • @StarbucksAddict70 this is awesome thank you for sharing this tip <3

  • i wash my face with raw honey; use apple cider vinegar and green tea as a toner; and use jojoba oil, hemp oil, or olive oil as a moisturizer

  • Yesterday I made a brown sugar and milk body scrub :).. I also make my own deoderant & lip balm.

  • @brokenbbydoll444 sounds awesome!

  • You are so beautiful~

and I know it sounds silly, but... I love

your cheeks when you smile! it's so cute!

  • @PixieNyanChan Aw thanks <3

  • can you explain why salicylic acid is bad? it comes from a natural source (willow bark) and the link you provided isn't exactly in laymen's terms, so I just wanted a better understanding.

  • @10corsocomo salicylic acid from (willow bark) isnt bad. its the chemical lab derive salicylic acid that is bad for you.

  • the information is valuable. but. you. don't . need. to talk . like a . robot. ... no need to be nervous, our interest is already peeked. but a demonstration and maybe before and after picks wouldn't hurt either. i've subscribed. i really look forward to watching more of these videos. huge fan of DIY and naturals. good luck :)

  • @nuklear7 if you've ever done a youtube video you would know just how difficult it is to act natural. i was quite critical before, but since i make videos i've become more tolerant. the most difficult thing is that you don't know who will be watching it and when.

    take care :)

  • @acmulhern constructive criticism is always well taken for me. if they have something they think i should improve on for anything, i gladly take it into consideration. and since i do not make videos, i can only act as critic, i hope not to come off too rough around the edges, but when you have two kids, it get's hard to not sound condescending.

  • confidence is sexy and you got it :)

  • thanks :)

  • @kinectaddict thanks :)

  • I would like to try the 100% pure cosmetics, but I live in Austria, so I can't order. :/

  • @pammyglo1 yes you can but I prefer almond oil :)

  • Could you tell me if Petal Purity Organic Facial Cleanser lathers up and if its good for acne and sensitive skin? and also if the ROSEY CHEEKS is also a good product for problematic skin. Thank you

  • @tanechkausa no this is a milk cleanser ! for sensitive/dry / normal skin type. Not recommended for acne skin type Rosey cheek is for Sensitive skin / dry / Normal skin type. problematic skin I would recommend pomega 5 green tea moisturizer and lemon mint cleanser

  • @glamology thanks is it true that argan oil gets rid of frizz ?

  • @AquaCatClaws all oil does

  • I understand the importance of wearing and SPF but how can I get a product with SPF and not contain so many harmful ingredients and do I need an eye cream with SPF? Thanks

  • @mardel3 SPF is Important. My personal opinion is that unless you are in directed sun light for half an hour like... sports winter or summer sports. Hanging out by the pool. reading a book outside, gardening. you dont need it every day. Karen botanical has a great SPF and it doesn't have harmful chemicals

  • so you can instead of using a face cleanser in the morning , use apple cider vig or lemon juice ?

how bout olive oil ? is it true that if u massage wam aloive oil on your face for a while it can clear/clean your skin ?

  • @AquaCatClaws yes you can use apple cider vig or lemon juice as a face cleanser. For skin that tends to break out I would use a lighter oil such as Argan oil.

  • I love using oils on my skin; carrot oi, rosehip oil, macademia nut oil, almond oil, avocado oil :)

  • Great video! I just started following you on twitter after seeing a few of your posts RT'd. You totally speak my language! I've been using coconut and olive oils as moisturizer and makeup remover for some time, both are amazing oils! Thank you for sharing these great tips! :)

  • @thediscokitty thanks for your kind feedback

  • When I'm having some bigger issues with acnes and skin not perfectly clean, I like using a camomile tea to wipe my face and neck. It dries skin up a bit and one needs moisturiser afterwards, but skin gets very smooth after few days of using. It's very good for greasy skin! Note: tea must be made on a daily basis and cooled before using. Also, I like wiping my face with the peels of cucumber when I have some around, great refreshment, esp. eye area.

  • nice vid :D

  • @glamology I love your videos! This one expecially is very informative an helpful :)

  • Instead of store bought facials n scrubs make one at home there r so many recipes on the web easy cheap and funnnnn :)

    :)

  • love this vid

  • at about which temperature is lukewarm water?

  • @Gagathinxx when it's warm but not hot :)

  • If you use lemon juice be careful to not go into the sunlight because it can alterate the color of the skin and make darker or lighter zones. Just be careful and wash it off completely before going out.

  • i like to use rose water as a toner :o)

  • I loved this video so much!!! It's so useful... I was wandering lately what substitutions I could make in my beauty routine, so thanks for the answers!

  • Green tea is a great cleanser

  • I love that you mention to use coconut oil and Jojoba. I use these in almost all my products and by themselves. Keep up the posts. Love your site and channel.

  • I love that you mention to use coconut oil and Jojoba. I use these in almost all my products and by themselves. Keep up the posts. Love your site and channel.

  • @glamology, I use honey as a cleanser, green tea as a toner and moisturize with organic evoo. good old mother nature has us covered. (=

  • green is the new pink? WTF?

  • @PurpleFairyWings green = eco / natural / non-toxic / organic etc.

  • @glamology yes, I understood that. I just thought 'green is the new pink' sounds like something for little girls who don't use cosmetics yet. Thanks for the video though, I think it's important to encourage people to use eco friendly for the same of planet

  • @PurpleFairyWings wow, rude much?

  • @livingthelife194 not at all, I even thanked her for the video.

  • Love all these suggestions and definitely going to try these.

  • My favorite facial scrub is a mixture of olive oil and brown sugar (which is less abrasive than white or cane sugar). Make a paste of it and massage gently into skin, then rinse with lukewarm water. Skin will be soft, smooth and no clogged pores or stripped skin! For moisturizer I alternate btw coconut oil and rosehip oil and I noticed the redness and uneven skin tone of my dry, sensitive skin is virtually gone now and I almost never get dry patches on my face anymore!

  • You are so pretty. Another great natural cleanser is honey! It's awsome!

  • @FluffyCandyGirl i use it too! my skin is so soft afterwards and my acne scars have diminished!

  • When I use raw honey as a cleanser and/or jojoba or olive oil as a moisterizer, I get many tiny bumps on my skin... does that mean I am allergic to it or is it clogging my skin?

  • @cinemaroll if you have oily skin then it could be clogging, but any abnormalities probably does mean you're allergic. Even when cleansing with honey, you don't need any moisturiser, it's got its own moisturising properties

  • for a facial scrub I mix baking soda with a natural face wash.

  • Yeah! It's virgin coconut oil which you mentioned! I use it as an all over moisturizer & scalp oil. Virgin coconut oil mixed with pure tea tree essential oil really helps my dry itchy scalp. Miracle oil!

  • YAY Thanks :D also...

Apple cider vinegar for dandruff control

  • isn't putting cucumber on your eyes good 4 it too??

  • @Shoppingstar525 yes it is :) its soothing and reduces redness, irritation and puffiness

  • Thanks Charmaine!!!

  • Great info! My skin is ultra sensitive anymore + am tired of trying to find something that doesn't make it break out in rashes or dry out skin. Going to try these. Thank you!

  • I came across RawRadiantHealth YouTube channel and she suggests using raw, organic honey as a daily facial cleanser because of its antibacterial properties and many other benefits. I started using it as a cleanser a few days ago and my skin is much softer and I don't need as much moisturizer.

  • @redtulips23 i love rawradianthealth's channel, and i cleanse with honey to, i don't even moisturise now!

  • @Musicbubb That's awesome. I'm loving it so far. :-)

  • Physicians Formula makes organic eye makeup remover pads.

  • I use coconut oil has a leave in conditionner for the tip of my hair.

  • i use vitamin E vitamin capsules as an eye cream, every night i open one. I put it on my eyelashes and lips too as a conditioner for them. I also use jojoba and or olive oil as a deep contitioning treatment for my hair. Honey and sugar make a great face and body scrub. Lemon juice to whiten my nails and sweet almond oil if I need to shave in between waxing!

  • i have millia under my eyes, if I massage the sweet almond oil around my eyes does it make it worse?
