And if UK and France sides and helps the CSA then Mexico would most likely NOT have been a republic! France invaded before the civil war and put a puppet emperor on the Throne of Mexico and with a friendly if not allied CSA rather than a non hostile but deeply meddling USA to the north the french would have had more or less free rains and by the great war Mexico would have been an ally rather than an enemy!
And as djmarkway wrote slavery would have ended in 20 years at the longest!
And with the added mexican manpower the US(if they joins the central powers) WILL lose!
In Europe however without any(US OR CS) aid the germans will not only defeat the entente but probably crush it completely it was afterall american manpower difference together with allied initiative and a lack of german will to adapt to newer weapons that won the war for the Entente powers!
So you´d have a loose - win scenario for both sides wich might become very interresting later!
I think Prussia (later Germany) would side with the CSA instead of Britian and France, which may have made them join the central powers and stop the USA from joining causing a different outcome.
@Rebs96 Germany sides with the US because in real-life France and Britain actually politically supported the CSA in the civil war, but never took military action. Also, the North and Germany have closer cultural ties just as the CSA does with Britain and France.
This is just as funny and wrong as the "Southern Victory" videos that received scathing remarks. Both are not historically accurate. A Southern victory comes early if at all; before Gettysburg. The North remains independant, but maybe makes a foray into Canada, to keep adequate distance from the South. A Southern victory would have likely caused the Mormons to declare seperately. California? Slavery ends in 20 years regardless because of the economic reality of agri-tech. No US Superpower though
very good! but I am a bit puzzled on how the CSA managed to convince the Europeans entry to the war. First: the south was fighting for states rights and second: didn't the southern defeat defeat at antietam dissuade the Brits and French from entering the war?
@DOMORCIDEA Well, I said they convinced the Europeans they were fighting for states rights (personally I don't believe that for a second) and I think they where just looking for a victory on Northern soil in general, that's why Gettysburg was so vital.
@SonicobbsessedR2 yeah I suppose. but still I really think that the confederates were fighting for states rights, but opinions are opinions. that what makes democracy!
Very accurate. Except if Germany remained a monarchy, Hitler would never have rose to power and WWII would have been prevented. Other than that, it was good!
...quite intelligent I would say-really! Just minor things: Where is Bulgaria, the third allied of the Kaiser? It would have been enlarged at the expense of Greece and Romania...and I dont think Germany would have been able to take in possession the whole of subsaharian Africa (what they planned was a German "Mittelafrika" going from Namibia to nowadays Tanzania) The rest seems really reasonable to me.
(-; ok; last thing that came to my mind: Nowadays Indonesia belonged to the Netherlands - as the latter was neutral in WW1, Dutch-India would not have been incorporated in the Reich's colonial "empire" (only the southeastern part of Neuguinea was British-would have been annexed)...love those things, thx for the vid (-:
But all in all a very good ALT History vid!

@CodyComics01 If there would be a world war 2 it wouldn't be because of Hitler. I may make a sequel if WWM stops being all shitty.

Mexico was in no shape for war during the first great war, due to civil war. The Confederacy would have crushed her.

@antiochostheos there are some things I wanted to change on this anyway. Bulgaria is on the map but it's hard to see because of the crappy quality.

@thewowgamer100 It was reminiscent of how Germany was blamed for everything in the real WW1.

Abe surrenders? I think you worded that wrong.
SargentMugen 1 year ago
@SargentMugen Nope. He considered surrendering whenever the South invaded the North, but he changed his mind of course after Gettysburg.
