  • Is this made fore gay's ore what ? Come on

  • he is playing fake

  • Why not just use trim/gain to fade out instead if spending over £100 on this\?

  • I just tried a pioneer CDJ-800 and its pretty impressive...and my cuz dad got it so im gonn be getting it soon

  • nice

  • can u still do fader start with rotary

  • not cross fader! the sound faders lol

  • rather use the sound faders man! glides over and feels smother

  • rotarys are amazing they sound better its a greater feeling. a lil off beat but nice mix for no headfones

  • Comment removed

  • what are they are they just up faders?

  • Yeah. But you have greater control over them for smoother mixes. Used mostly by house DJs

  • aghhhh i cant wait i just ordered my conversion kit!! i djed with a rane rotary at a club the other night, and came home and had to order the conversion

    mixes are sooo smooth

  • y0ull feel the difference! They rock in my opinion!

  • I want one now!! How much did the knobs go for?? I just got my 800 for the past month, money well spent!!!

  • so tell me how didn't u use headphones? lol

  • he has his computer, its very easy like that....

  • nice house! can we get a tracklist plz?

  • yeah wuts the song at 8:23? ive heard it many times i cant get the id

  • why did you bought the djm whith the rotary knob?

  • What's the name from the song at 08:23???

  • Nice setup & nice mix! How do you like the 450's? I'm thinking of getting a pair to replace my S12e's...I kinda half-blew them out last week lol.

  • I just upgraded to the v2's and they are the shit man...I highly recommend them, they can take a beating!

  • i know how hard is it to mix with one hand holding the camera.. been there done that.

btw, the knobs are frigin huge. very smooth gain of the volume i'ld say. i'ld definatly use the knobs... but then again, it really depends on personnal preference.

well some style of mixing like mine would require swift cutting of the 2nd track repeteadly (check my vid mixes, you'll know what i mean), so in that sense a knob wouldn't do. and i hate to use the c-faders, so i guess its all upfaders

  • like the way how that you began,

  • one question, do you think this will work on the djm600? i know its not the best from pioneer but i just got one for $350 bucks, great deal i'll say

  • from what I know, there is no rotary kit for the djm 600. I know there is a kit for the djm 800, 1000, and 3000, but they are great!

  • how isnt it the best? its exactly like the djm800 but the 800 has more effects and a digital display. thats it!

  • not "exactly" there are a lot of features you are missing, the 800 to me is wayyyy better than the 600, even the 700 is a huge improvement from the 600

  • yeah they def are, but since I have an efx500 it makes it quite interesting, but the 800 rock with the new effects above the channek faders, got to try one at guitar center on sunday

  • oh the "color efx" yeah those are nice...but the 700 has the filter for efx, and/or channel..

  • well of course the 800is better, its a more recent mixer with a better look and more effects. personally i dont like the 700 id prefer the 600 & 800 over the 700.

  • i had the 600 and it had several problems with the headroom. And that problem has been fixed on the 800&700.

  • Thank you Bruintjebruin....I hate the 600, love the 700 and 800.

  • mostly just the fader curves and the filter/harmonic/sweep/crush effects although i think the 700 has jus the filter too.

  • I'll have to say it looks really cool, at leas its different from everybody's, good job

  • la DJM800 es impresionante, yo quiero una jejeejej!

  • these rotary knobs give such a smooth mix!!! with the channel fader curve on, it gives a much more subtle increase/decrease in volume!!!! ahh i love it!

  • *SMILES*

  • Preference for the linear for me!!thanks for the demonstration!

  • i prefer just to jostle between faders and the gain control,if i want a smoother mix i will cue up my track, get in sync, wack the gain down, fader up and bring the gain in to its correct volume!

  • I've tried doing it this way also...it works pretty cool.

  • This made me smile, being an old fart i thought about late 70s when nearly all kit was rotary and how we thought the slide faders were so cool...... only thing that worries me is the rotary switches also develop crackles and pops... and why would you want to change it...ha person preference i guess...... ha

  • it's a lot more smoother for mixing, especially since my mixer has a curve for the channel faders...there are no crackles or pops, just smooth mixing...thanks! :D gld to make u smile!
