Keith, maybe I'll be contacting you in the next few days about transfering ADF files from PC to an Amiga 500, bought today the serial null modem cable 25 pin/ 9 pin female + Serial 9 pin female to usb male, in order to connect them together.

My questions will be on what program should I use to copy ADF files from the PC to a blank floppy disk on the Amiga drive.

I think you will need Easy ADF which can be bought from Amigakit for a couple of quid but 100%. Have a wander over to the English Amiga board they have full guides in the forum :)

The A1200 isn't as massive as you first thought I guess because you got one in the end. :P

I have all the HD bits since christmas but couldn't be bothered to insert them to mine yet so I am still having to play my doggey disks. :P

The size was a problem for a desk as I have a sort of alcove that the A600 slotted into perfectly. Had to use a plank of thin wood to sit across this and plonk the 1200 on. Looks a bit of a mess but its manageable. The HD is amazing, cuts down on loading times.

Btw got seriously distracted by alien breed 2 it looks brilliant, can you get that on the cd32? i wanted to get a 500 but quite frankly i can't find a white one so im thinking a cd32 maybe an option, what do u think?

I don't think it wa sreleased for the CD32 but yo ucould probably play it on one of the pirate multi disks. To be honest I really can't recommend the CD32 it starts off well enough but after playing on one for awhile you find just how limited it is when you want to play lots of different Amiga games. Best to go for the keyboard.

Had a quick look on ebay and theres two copies for the cd32, ones 15 quid and the other is being sold with tower defense alien breed i think its called and that auction was 80 buy now lol Ill try and find a clean 500 then if i can lol problem with 500 is the wieght and people charge a lot for shipping :(

If its just for games you should consider an A600 as they are much cheaper and lighter for shipping.
