In my opinion, me and some friends we think that it isn't a big problem, but the fact is that this is the event of santa eulalia and it should be all in q'anjobal and be translated in spanish and english... and I say this because we held the fiesta here in Champaign Illinois and we did in all three languages, consider this a lesson to learn from, and you can better the fiesta if you apply all three languages, you are presenting the culuture of santa eulalia in three languages all at once thanks

She may be a princess all right but why doesn't she speak k'anjob'al then??? if you are a real Maya k'anjob'al why don't you teach your kids to speak k'anjob'al instead of castellano?? why do we worry about castellano so much that man chi xa ko kuyok eb' yaltaj' unin skuyon ko k'anjoba'l??? why in the world is our language becoming extinct because of people refusing to teach their kids their real roots???? castellano is foreign, K'anjob'al and other native languages are far more beautiful!!!
