on my first playthrough i had no idea what i was doing i didnt upgrade my ship, i never woke grunt or reactivated legion, and jack, thane, tali, and samara died in the suicide mission (i also didnt have kasumi or zaeed at the time)

anyone else notice the sun-star thing in the background of T.I.M.'s office is red if u keep the base and when u destroy the base the star turns blue?? and i'm confused in one of the ME3 trailers shepard was fighting off cerberus soldiers in a cerberus base wit garrus and liara...could keeping or destroying the base affect that part of the game or does it not matter if u choose either or? i think either way T.I.M. will want to kill u..

@santosluvsapril You are correct.If i recall correctly Cerberus and TIM are indoctrianted in ME3 so they are out for you no matter what your choice was in th eend of ME2.However your choice wil probably affect the position TIM will have in ME3(giving him the asset=Cerberus more of a threat)and how powerful he will be when he is after you.

You know what I always thought was weird with Miranda's romance scene? Even though she clears out the engine room beforehand, there's still a bunch of windows from other rooms on the ship where you can see the mass effect core and little pathway into the engine room where they were gettin it on. So basically the whole crew couldve been watching from the windows while eating like popcorn and stuff lol. apparently bioware party members dont really care about that (reference to awkwardness in DA:O)

The illusive man is just manipulating people with pretty pictures while his actual plan is to find a way to control reaper tech so that he can become the emperor of the galaxy while promoting human only propaganda.

Then some blonde kid will show up with a green stick and get his ass kicked. That's okay though, the illusive mans right hand man who turns out to be the kids dad will turn on the illusive man and toss him into an electro field thus bringing balance to the force.

You may have to go after him, and you may have the choice to kill him (Renegade option?) or save him (Paragon Option?) - if you save him from indoctrination, then he might actually aid you in defeating the Reapers, in which saving the collector base would be a good thing. ^_^

In my first playthrough I lost Legion and Mordin. But in my second Playthrough... NOBODY died... not under my leadership :) I just rememberd what I read on the loading screen... importing the savegame into ME 3.. this gave me the motivation to play again.. and again.. and again... => no one left behind!

I lost no one, but not that I planned on it. I'm a side-quest junkie, and did all of them. I had Jacob lead the other team every time, and had Tali and Miranda with me the whole time, with Kasumi in the vents.

I remember my first playthrough... I lost legion, because of a wrong decision. I sent him trhough the ventilation shaft and he was loyal. Well I restarted the suicide mission and put Tali through the shaft. Garrus was the leader of the second team => Tali survived. I took Samara as the biotic shield and put Jacob in charge of the defenst => got hit by a bullet but it was just a scratch. I had Mordin escort the survivors back to the Normandy. My final team was Garrus and Tali. All survived :)

@DemonQueen75 u do her companion mission. talk to her frequently until she says the flotilla is calling her a traitor. then go to the flotilla and do the mission. basically her father caused the problems but nobody knows except u and tali, and at the end of the mission u have three choices to either put all the blame on tali, rally the crowd or put all the blame on her father. pick anything except putting the blame on her father because then tali wont be loyal. when she's loyal she wont die
