How to Use FileZilla (FTP Tutorial)

lisa, thx for all this info u introduced me to making websites, i downloded your perfect site guide book but i have questions:

in the book it said i can either use filezilla or use my web hosts control panel, how do i do that?

is there a way were i dont have to lean html?

im planning to make my first site using website palace so i need a basic tutorial on HOW TO UPLOAD INFO TO MY SITE only without using html, something not as complicated as w3schools.

Why are you starting your tutorial in the middle? If I already have files uploaded then I already know how to upload them. How do I start?

@Boobulargroove The steps are the same no matter. If you haven't uploaded anything then that panel on the right is blank. That's the only difference. It doesn't impact the steps whatsoever.

Ive uploaded all the files, but the images are not showing up

example:

in my html code

img src="folder/pic.jpg"

the pic.jpg is not showing up on the main page, any help?? need answer tommorow

Another good tutorial from Lisa. I use this program and it's very easy to handle. if i can do it ... anybody can.

I only recently started to learn about html, css etc and would have to afmit I found the '2createawebsite' tutorials very good ... probably one of the best series on Youtube.

My brother has this website and I'm planning to be the one to update it. When we go to the website to edit the lists of books, we type a username and a password. Is that the same USERNAME and PASSWORD we are going to type in the Filezilla client?.. plz reply really need help!......

Contact your web host. Your FTP info is probably incorrect. Did you set up an FTP account with your host?

why do you need to set up an account with the host? cant u just download anonymously? and for some reason my FTP is slow as hell. :S i use filezilla btw
