This quote is false. First they came for the _Communists_. This is important because it is the actual quote, and more importantly what _actually happened_.

Socialists (communists specially) were the only people fighting hitler and the nazis. And they were the ones who took the hardest blow at the begining and the first to die in the concentrationcamp.

It is widely published in educational materials for middle and high school students, and elsewhere, in addition to being casually posted on the Internet. You may way to check your facts before accusing the video poster of "lying!"

No it is for Communists, social democrats, trade unionists. There are no Jews at all in the citation of Niemöller.

Because he was arrested in 1937 and the pogroms to the Jews were in November 1938. He was arrested one year before the first mass arrests of Jews.

That is why there are no Jews in the original citation.

Only my opinion, but the problem TODAY lies with fuelling the possibility that this can happen again by disrespecting the inherent rights and feelings of native peoples who see their countries slipping into an unworkable unbearable international fruit tree for international financial institutions and corporations.
