The first 40 seconds is why I love this music so much. In my mind I see the trees and a vivid Fall turning into a beautiful Winter. the track is so good.
It was a co production between BBC and Discovery Channel, and I believe some smaller players.. The series took five years to make, and cost several million pounds. No single broadcaster can afford that kind of investment anymore. The results however are incredible and well worth the time and money spent.

it was a limited series on Discovery Channel, not just one movie. BTW takes about as long to respond to these videoes as it does to look up on 'pedia

no it was bbc first, discovery picked it up. I'm suprised though because licensing planet earth must have cost them a lot of money.
