Well what can i SAY the people who done this video are very trusting of that doberman, that dog could turn at any minute. Im glad nothing happens, but not all dogs are like that, so don't try putting a kitten with a dog.

They are just such mommy dog. Want to make sure the kitten is ok. I have two that when our yorkie had puppies they just wanted to lick and smell them anytime we were holding them. So Cute!!!!

Smaller dogs are less tolerable more territorial, but i still doubt that a well raised dog would ever hurt a kitten on purpose. Not food + No threat = Calm reaction

@illicit007 I lived with a young male doberman for a year when i moved in with a roomate and it was a complete hyperactive nutcase.They get calmer as they get older apparantly, females are less crazy also.
Wow, I would have to disagree on that declawing thing though. If I would amputate my cat because I can't take the time to train it properly, then I probably shouldn't have a cat. If the cat ever gets lost, how is it going to defend itself or find food?
It is sad how Dobermans got a bad rap. They were bred to be the penultimate protection dog. They are like the Special Ops soldier of the canine world. They have the weight, speed, intelligence, and loyalty factor to guard and defend, but they have a soft side as well. Thanks for sharing!

White European settlers who came to America, made more of ourselves (MUCH more, I'd say) than certain ignorant others who still live backward in the sand. Such a beautiful and calm disposition. My old dog is just like this, sooo gentle with the tiny creatures. Dogs truly are smart and the uploader is right, older dogs tend to calm down a lot and with love and the right training make such wonderful pets. Don't be afraid to adopt an older dog! @SoCalxHeartbreaker Not really, most (as in over 90%) big dogs know that a kitten poses no real threat to them so they allow that kind of behavior from them. Smaller dogs are less tolerable more territorial, but i still doubt that a well raised dog would ever hurt a kitten on purpose. Not food + No threat = Calm reaction

my little schnoodle puppy is absolutely crazy.i believe what you say is true but i think i can para-phrase in less words. if you put your best into your dog, he/she will give it back. there are so many things that my jazzy (now 2 years old) will do that remind me of myself. when i first got her school was ending for the summer and i had the whole summer to be with her, train her, play and get used to the new house that she took on some of my characteristics.

It is sad how Dobermans got a bad rap. They were bred to be the penultimate protection dog. They are like the Special Ops soldier of the canine world. They have the weight, speed, intelligence, and loyalty factor to guard and defend, but they have a soft side as well. Thanks for sharing!
