For those baffled by the basketball scene. It's from Wes Craven's Deadly Friend. Geeky boy likes hot girl and robots. Hot girl's dad knocks her down stairs and kills her. So geeky boy puts his robot's AI chip in her head to bring her back to life (WTF moment no.1). Apparently, being brought back to life by being given a robot brain gives her super strength (WTF moment no.2), enough to turn a basketball into a cannon ball. See, makes sense. Sort of. Well, okay, not really.
