This was the absolute winning car. A better driver than Vettel or Webber would have secured the title like 3-4 races beforehand with this. And in the end it was only because of luck that Vettel won, it shouldn't have been with car like this. I think the title went to right team but to wrong driver.

F1 is the best now.

Can-Am was the best motorsport ever. Faster than F1 in its day, and it was a free from rules formula with no upper limit of displacement, size of wings or any other limitations. Can-Am produced the most powerful circuit racing cars ever. McLaren won 5 straight Can-Am titles. Porsche made the 1100hp (1500hp in qualifying trim) 917-30, which was clocked at over 400km/h on Paul Ricard in 1973.

F1 was best in the turbo-era. Insanely fast cars.

If Webber "wins" the 2010 title it will be the most undeserved since Alain Prost 21 years ago (1989)- poor Vettel has lost THREE certain wins this season- catastrophic mechanical failure whilst leading in the closing laps- he would have had the Title sewed up already- 75 points out of range of Webber- who undeservingly remains ahead of him in points.

2010 is almost as bad as 1989 where Senna won 6 but lost 4 more with mech failure when leading- Prost inheriting all 4 and "winning" the WC.

Prost was one of the best drivers of all time, how can he be that bad (like mallamoozoo is suggesting) and be able to compete against drivers like Senna, Lauda, Keke, Villeneuve??

For the Can-Am cars they were fast enough to qualify in a top 10 thanks to their huge power and straight line speed, but the F1 car had much more down-force therefore they were faster in corners.

Well, even though Senna probably deserved the 1989 title more than Prost, the fact remains that had ALL points counted like today, then Prost would have won both the 1988 and 1989 title.

I am just glad Alonso didn't win the 2010 title. He hasn't led a third of the laps of either Vettel or Webber, and got two wins absolutely for free in Australia and Korea.
